I feel cheated, ignored, and taken advantage of by both the owner and Booking.com.

I did not stay in the property for even a single night. Upon arrival, I was met with an unbearable and unhygienic smell that made the apartment completely unlivable. I immediately returned the keys at check-in. Because of this, I was forced to secure alternative accommodation at additional personal expense, through no fault of my own. Despite the situation being reported immediately, neither the property owner nor Booking.com has provided any refund whatsoever. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of responsibility and customer care. I feel cheated, ignored, and taken advantage of by both the owner and Booking.com. The handling of this issue has been extremely unprofessional, and I am demanding a full and immediate resolution.

It was near the gulf and good food was available near the property

The entrance was dirty and unsafe, the room had no internet, the shower was broken, and the bathroom drain was open. The microwave and kettle didn’t work, walls were stained, and there were insects in the room.

As per their listing on Booking.com, the property facilities are misleading.

I arrived at the unit around 7 PM, and according to the listing, there should be parking available—but I still had to leave my vehicle in a paid parking area. Upon entering the room, the issues just piled up: there was no internet, a cockroach running around, no bath towel, no slippers, no toiletries, and the pillow was filthy and had a terrible smell. The electrical wiring looked unsafe, and the entire room had a musky, moldy odor like wet wood. When I contacted the management, they flat-out told me they wouldn’t provide the basic necessities I was requesting, such as a towel and Wi-Fi. Yet, when I reached out to Booking.com customer service, suddenly the property called back and sent someone with a modem, a pillowcase, and a towel. I insisted that the pillow itself needed to be replaced because of the foul smell, but that only happened much later—around 9:30 PM.

This was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a room and informed the ahost well in advance that

“ Avoid This Place – Unprofessional and Dishonest Host” I booked a room and informed the host in advance that I would be arriving late. He confirmed and agreed to a late check-in. However, when I arrived, there was no reception, and the host was completely unreachable – no answers on phone, WhatsApp, or any other method. I waited outside on the street for hours with no help. It was clear he had either fallen asleep or simply chose to ignore me. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. To make things worse, I asked for a refund due to the fact that I never even got to access the room, and he refused – completely ignored my messages after that. This host is not reliable, and I would warn anyone against booking with him. He took my money and provided nothing in return – absolutely shameful behavior.

In my opinion, this was a scam-like experience.! AVOID AT ALL COSTS “The host took my money and vanished.” This felt like a scam — I paid for a room and got nothing.

Worst place I've ever stayed in. Absolutely filthy and disgusting. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Totally unfit for Booking. I left within an hour as the owner stopped answering my messages. Despite repeated messages and requests for a full refund, he has chosen to ignore me and to keep the money ;)
