    The hotel’s location is decent, and everything is quickly accessible. The most important note is to pay close attention to which room you book. You should definitely avoid the “double small room,” as it is not worthy of even two stars, let alone a four-star hotel. The bathroom is larger than the room itself, and the only window faces a wall across from it, making you feel like you’re trapped in a prison or a hospital. The room doors do not seal properly at all—light from the hallway comes through, so it’s impossible to sleep if someone even walks past your room. I also saw for the first time pillowcases and a duvet cover that can be pulled out from both sides, causing the blanket to slip out. After two nights, we moved to a larger room with a street view, and the situation was much better. However, the issue with the doors remained, although in this room they were farther from the sleeping area, so it wasn’t as bad. Breakfast is decent—not a huge selection, but the food is of good quality. Overall, it’s not that bad, but you really need to be careful what you book. Otherwise, you’re better off choosing any hostel than the small room here.

    We had the most enjoyable and comfortable stay at Icon Bcn during early December. The room was spacious the bathroom even more so. The location is everything. Breakfast was a bonus and an excellent spread. We can highly recommend and will return.

    The staff was fabulous to work with. Helpful and kind to speak with for assistance for directions or suggestions. Very clean and comfortable stay. Great location for all of the key sites.

    Not happy with no ac. Breakfast was the same. The staff will come out slowly after you get all your food to ask if you want eggs or pancakes. It’s just ok for me.
