This luxurious and unique penthouse is right in the heart of the city - on Placa Catalunya with captivating panoramic views over beautiful Barcelona from its 40 sqm (431 sft) private terrace. Spread out over 85 sqm (915 sft) of living space are amazing amenities which include hardwood flooring, a full gourmet kitchen, a dining room, two spacious double bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one en-suite).
The first bedroom has a king size bed (2 x 2 m) with deluxe mattress and extra pillows to ensure you have a good night rest. The other bedroom is set up as a twin bedroom with equal quality mattresses.
The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with top brand appliances. The windows are double glazed to create a tranquil environment while the hustle and bustle of the city center is just an elevator ride away.

Prime location: The apartment is located right in the center of the city - on Placa Cataluna. All the main sights of interest are within walking distance:

TOURIST TAX: Mandatory and imposed by the Catalan government of 9.50€ per night. This is to be charged at the time of check-in to each guest aged 17 and above for a maximum of 7 nights.
LATE CHECK-IN:
For check-ins from 8pm to 10pm: 40€
For check-ins from 10pm to 11pm: 60€
EARLY CHECK-IN: (before 3pm) Subject to availability and there is a 40€ early check-in fee. Please note that in case the apartment is being cleaned, the early check-in fee still applies and you can ONLY leave your luggage in the apartment, take the keys and come back when the cleaning is done (around 3pm).
LATE CHECK-OUT: (after 11am) Subject to availability and there is a 20€ per hour. If you would like to have a late checkout, you need to inform us and we will let you know if it's possible.
PETS: Your pet is welcome to stay with you. Please inform us in advance and note that the following charges will apply at the time of check-in:
-A €150 security deposit, fully refundable as long as there are no damages in the apartment.
-A €50 pet fee for extra cleaning.
If you are traveling with more than one pet, please contact us before booking.
Interaction with Guests:
We will check you in personally and explain around the apartment, answer any questions you might have. After the check-in the apartment is yours for the duration of your stay! Of course we will still be available 24/7 for any questions you might have, any help you might need.

This was a first visit to Barcelona for 2 of our party and they were thoroughly delighted through out our trip with the city and its buildings, shops and tapas and restaurants.

We enjoyed this property quite a bit. It looked a little bigger to us online, but the right size for us and probably large by Spain standards. We thought we’d use the kitchen, but didn’t, outside of keeping beer and water cold in fridge. Kitchen has all the right things if you want to cook, it was just easier (and not very expensive) to eat out. The patio is amazing, but was unusually rainy so didn’t use as much as we’d like. It was central to many of the sites. We took a taxi to a couple locations only because it was a 30 min walk (Park Guell and Sagrada Família) and it was raining. But everything is walkable and it’s surprisingly not loud in the unit. The property company didn’t communicate well in advance through VRBO. They did respond when I emailed them directly and the house manager Carlos was very responsive through WhatsApp. It was more expensive than other properties we saw, but really wanted the patio and location. Fit our family with one teenage son traveling with us.

Positives- great location, spacious outdoor balcony, early check in, late checkout, beds were comfortable, washer and dryer, quiet considering the location.
Negatives - bedrooms too small, no English TV stations, balcony furniture not at all comfortable, water pressure too low, unit rent not commensurate with the quality of the unit and furnishings, bathroom #2 too small, no storage available in either bedroom, kitchen is too small. Pictures are deceiving as they make the unit look larger, especially the bedrooms
Recommendations - add some English TV channels (news and sports), improve outdoor furnishings, find some kind of storage for clothes in both bedrooms.
