We had to get coffee across the street because we couldn't get the coffee maker to work but it could have been user error

Conflicted about this property!
I almost didn’t get out of the cab when we pulled up to the property. Locked gate and cement wall around the property was BEYOND uninviting! Inside the gate no better! Dirty, no landscaping, plastic chair and mop/bucket against the wall. Yuck!
However, once we dragged our lugged upstairs (no elevator) and entered the door to the property I was pleasantly surprised. Newly renovated, roomy, and nice.

This guest house is located just a short drive away from the airport. The property manager is able to make cab reservations so you don’t have to navigate using a bus if you have an early flight. Walk down the stairs and straight down the main road and you can walk to the beach in about 40 minutes. There’s a nearby place to get gelato as well as restaurants within walking distance. It is well furnished in a unit that looks brand new except for the current remodeling going on as of May 2025 to re-do the entranceway. If you’re flying into Rome or just visiting the area, it’s a lovely place to stay. There are three separate guest rooms on the first floor. Each unit has its own bathroom and a common dining area. Our specific unit had a patio and you could look out down the main road which looks towards the beach. Also, within walking distance in the town is an ancient acropolis.
