Romana the hostess was amazing. Great attention to detail and went above and beyond our expectations. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, the chic decor was the cherry on top.
The location is great being only 20 mins from Varenna train station however, it is very difficult to get a taxi unless booked in advance or bus as it only runs 3x times a day. Taxi is also between €25 - €36 each time so can be quite expensive. Definitely consider hiring a car.

Lovely, attentive hostess. Very pleasant accommodation with terrific breakfast.
The access from the lake is a long drive up narrow hairpin bends. Our satnav was very confused about the exact location.

We had a very pleasant stay at Bed and Breakfast Papillon. The host was extremely kind and even picked us up at 8:30 PM when no buses or taxis were available, which was a huge help. The area is beautiful and peaceful, though the drive is quite steep and mountainous, so best to arrive before dark. We paid €30 for the ride back in the morning, which was arranged smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was excellent. Thank you for your kindness and help!

Lovely breakfast. Don't expect a continental buffet, but everything is available and made with love by host Romana.
The rooms are very romantic and the view over lake Como is stunning. Perledo itself is a cute little village and the road there is quite tricky if you drive a big SUV.
