Nice place! Unhelpful host!

The property was very spacious and clean and was exactly as described. The bathrooms and kitchen were very modern as well as clean and tidy.

There were 3 very large tv's but one was smashed, another didn't work at all and the internet was so sporadic, we couldn't stream anything on the one working tv. There was a lot of damage to walls so we took photos of everything to ensure we didn't get charged for any of these. When we pulled one of the beds away from the wall to allow access from both sides, it was clear this area had never been cleaned before. There were no kitchen towels or tea towels in the kitchen either. When I raised these with the host, he made the right noises but did nothing about it. On the day I move out, my deposit of £400 was taken out (even though it should have been held on account) meaning I was charged by my credit card company and had to wait for the refund. I also wanted to extend for another night and the host took me from the BDC platform for me to pay direct (so they didn't have to pay the BDC commission). When I asked to cancel the extra night, the host refused to give me a refund! Over all, my experience of dealing with the host was not a very pleasant one and I feel very let down by their apparent lack of concern to fix things.

I loved the area, the house was even better than expected, I wouldn’t go off the pictures as it undersells how beautiful it is on the Inside. There is enough space to park, and an EV charging point

Could have been good, let down by the hosting service

It could have been a very nice house.

Greeted at the front door by a large pile if rubbish. Once inside there was a smell from people having smoked in the property. Insufficient towels for the booked group. Dishwasher left full rather than tidied away. Some other crockery on the draining board. Question whether the property had been maintained between visits.

Stole my money

Unfortunately when I booked this accommodation there was no mention of a deposit system I did transfer the the deposit but the host kept saying the never received it so would not give me the access code so I had to sleep in my car very unpleasant experience from the very unprofessional company

Very disappointed - unable to stay due to unclean property

The property had not been cleaned - the bedsheets were dirty, the towels were dirty, food was left in the fridge, no toilet roll, crumbs on the sides. When we contacted the owner they claimed that the property had been cleaned when it clearly hadn’t. We said we didn’t feel comfortable staying and they eventually apologised, and mentioned changing one of the under sheets, without an offer of cleaning the property properly. We confirmed we would not be staying in an unclean property and that we wanted a refund, which was agreed. However I then only received a partial refund of £85 as we were marked as “no show”. This is incredibly unreasonable when it was not our fault that we did not end up staying. We were staying in Worsley to attend a funeral, which we had notified the property of previously, which made this whole ordeal even more disheartening.
