Birthday suprise

The place is beautiful and the staff were amazing, me and my partner stayed as a surprise for his birthday, the hot tub was so nice to stay in as well, there was a breakfast basket that I added onto the stay and it was amazing it came with lovely food and refreshments. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in the kitchen area as well with biscuits alongside which was a nice suprise. The best bit was the balloon package I paid for it was 45 pound and the staff had set it up perfectly in the room I can't thank them enough for making the experience so welcoming and relaxing :)

Nice but could be better for the price

the area , the views and the privacy were really nice . Had an expensive feel to it.

Was very dusty ( I have allergies) and the dressing gowns were hidden away in a cupboard behind the TV but there was nobody around to ask and it wasn’t in the guestbook so had a cold embarrassing walk from to room to the hot tub a few times

Fab place to stay 😌

Lovely, clean beautifully decorated accommodation. Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Every4hing you could need within the lodge.

If staying one night I feel the time spent there is quite short as check in is from 3pm and checkout is 10.30am. But thats just my personal opinion, definitely not a negative comment.

Nice but not worth the price.

It was very clean and had good facilities such as the kitchen space. Enjoyed the close proximity to the restaurant on site which had lovely food.

They don’t go the extra mile like a lot of other places do for a special occasion, you have to pay quite a high rate for any extras and felt as though the information on the website and on booking.com was not set out clearly enough at all. Had some trouble inside the property with one of the tv remotes not working so we couldn’t watch what we wanted. No atmosphere in the restaurant at all as we were the only ones in there. For the extortionate price of even one night would just expect a bit more and staff to make you feel a bit more special given there aren’t that many people staying at a time.

Tv on wall couldn’t see from the bed. The bedpost was in the way.. Hot tub not private no screening around.

Quality of the rooms were to a luxury standard, bed, mattress, mattress topper, pillows, jacuzzi, crockery, cutlery, bathrobes, towels, Samsung TV, soaps, Nespresso coffee all extremely luxurious. Grounds were kept immaculate and all staff warm and welcoming

Beautiful scenic setting, exquisite detail in a cosy , comfortable sumptuous lodge!! The attention to detail was second to none. This is the place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle and just …..relax A warm welcome from Kelly on arrival makes you feel at ease and special.

Very comfy, you can tell a lot of thought and money has gone into the accommodation and decor.

Comfiest bed and pillows, really well equipped kitchen and loved the Nespresso machine and little touches. Didn’t want to leave

If we had to choose something we didn’t like.. Noticed noise from neighbouring lodges who were clearly having a good time but we heard everything and loud music for a good 3 hours. I know it’s to be expected I guess, not sure if someone told them to be quiet as they did just stop with the noise.
