Casa Los Vecinos - Luxury Rooftop Penthouse

Lovely air conditioned property. Extremely comfortable and well equipped in all aspects from cooking to laundry. Rooftop terrace was spacious with good shade a lovely place to chill out with a drink and book. Beds very comfortable with good wardrobe space for clothes. Very useful having 2 bathrooms with 4 people. Location was great 10 minute walk to restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to the beach. There was a communal pool which the kids enjoyed. We had a car with us and given 2 parking spaces in the apartments underground parking. This was extremely useful as it can otherwise be difficult to find parking. Estepona is great and was a good base for when we travelled to other places like Nerja and Tarifa for the day. Communication was excellent throughout with plenty of clear instructions sent in good time and quick replies to messages.

Luckily we discovered we hadn't received the video of the parking and apartment when we collected our keys. This was sent to us immediately. Without the video it would have been difficult to identify the parking and our specific apartment. There is a narrow spiral staircase to the rooftop. Which could be challenging/unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues or very young children.

The property was lovely, air conditioned with high quality furnishings and fitments throughout. The roof top sun terrace was large and extremely private, with shade from the sun from a parasol and sliding roof shade. Lovely Webber BBQ too. We loved the fact we were in a residential complex, which was immaculately kept, with a large pool, which was never really busy, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The Indian restaurant close to the apartment was fantastic as were other restaurants, such as Lorenzo’s. The Old Town was so picturesque.

It was not suitable for older people with mobility issues as it was Ali g uphill walk from the centre. This also applies to the winding metal staircase to access the rooftop terrace. The towel fittings in the bathrooms were not strong enough to hold towels. The luggage storage facility was not at the property … it was a 20 minute walk away.

Voor ons waren de bedden vrij hard. Maar dat is echt persoonlijk
