A recently decorated 3 bedroom house in a very sought after area of Derby with a sleek and modern feel, boasting plenty of luxuries such as king size beds (or twin beds), flat screen TV with streaming services, fast wi-fi, and full kitchen. Three bathrooms, two being en-suites. The property is charming and welcoming, whether it’s for families or contractors/work colleagues, a home from home.

It could be a really nice place but let down by the details and location. Cleanliness is poor. A toe nail clipping on the stairs, many cobwebs mostly with spiders in them, a dirty toothbrush caddy, dirt rings under the shower gel bottles, dirty marks in the showers. Only FOUR glass tumblers and FIVE mugs for a place that sleeps 6??? The Shower in the main bedroom en-suite is just a dribble. The description is misleading, there is only one en-suite, not two. It says showers in all bathrooms, but there's no shower in main bathroom. The main bedroom is very noisy, especially if you need the window open. In hot weather the top bedrooms get very warm. Bizarrely, after messaging the management company with many of these points, they eventuality replied with a boilerplate response checking if everything was ok and not mentioning anything we said! In the main living area, there is seating for only 5 people, max, so if there's six of you, hard luck. Disappointing!

Clovelly Court is well placed and Nightingale House was well appointed with a great lay-out for 6 adults sharing. We were in the area for a wedding so the location was great and we loved that the property is walking distance from a superb and quirky pub, a fabulous coffee shop, pharmacy, and Sainsbury. A good location, too, for exploring further afield. All the bedrooms are a great size and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. The owners are fab - great communication and very accommodating offering us an early check-in and late check-out! We would say if you need a good night's sleep don't choose the bedroom at the front of the house - luckily, the two other bedrooms are nice and quiet! Thank you for making our stay so comfy!
