Iberostar Selection Coral Bávaro - All Inclusive

Staff was amazing and the food surprises us, the room was good. It will be better if the toilet was separate. But in general we had an amazing and relaxing vacations. We stay at the coral level and upgraded to a front beach room. They also add a sargassum barrier and it really help us enjoy the beach.

Amazing vacation, wonderful views and excellent service. Love the coral Level

The stay was super nice and relaxing. The rooms were big and clean, and the beach and staff were excellent, neat, and friendly. The spa was okay; the beds in the spa were not very comfortable, but the massage was good. The food at El Faro was good, and the drinks were as well. Stay with my husband and 1 year old.

We stayed at Iberostar Coral Bávaro during the first week of July after paying about $500 extra for the Coral upgrade, expecting a noticeably more premium experience. Unfortunately, the differences between Coral and the regular Iberostar Selection Bávaro were minimal. Even staff mentioned there wasn't much difference. The biggest disappointment was the dining. Los Haitises (the main buffet at Bávaro Selection) had a much larger variety and better selection than El Faro, the exclusive Coral buffet. We also saw guests from other Iberostar properties using the Coral beach area and beach tents, so the exclusivity wasn't really enforced. The bars offered essentially the same drinks throughout the resort, while premium Scotch still cost about $40 per drink despite Coral's advertised premium beverage experience. Service was inconsistent. Some staff struggled to understand English requests, and the coffee preparation often resulted in weak, watered-down lattes. However, there were standout employees. Marilyn at the bar near Tapatio was always friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to El Niño from the entertainment team—his energy, dance lessons, and enthusiasm made our vacation unforgettable. He inspired us to continue learning salsa and bachata. The beach, grounds, and Fourth of July celebration were fantastic, and we had a great vacation overall. However, unless Iberostar clearly enhances the Coral experience, I would recommend saving your money and booking Iberostar Selection
