Really nice hotel overall, but I’d personally rate it closer to a 4-star experience than a true 5-star. The property is extremely clean and well maintained, the pools were spotless, the rooms were spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
There are lots of restaurants to choose from. The variety was great, although the food quality was more good than amazing. The swim up bar was great. The cocktails were a bit disappointing and tasted more like juice than actual drinks. A tip always did the job ;)
The beach is literally 1 min walk from most rooms!
One downside was the early closing times — the pool closes at 7 PM and the beach at 6 PM, which felt too early. The entertainment team did a great job. They kept the energy fun and lively. We also loved the trolley rides around the property.
Staff were friendly and helpful overall. I had a slight inconvenience with the room upgrade arriving later than expected and having to switch rooms the next day, but it wasn’t a major issue.
Definitely buy a tour to get to know the culture and have some fun outside of the hotel! I loved the buggies and the natural caves.
Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable stay. Definitely a nice resort, though in my opinion the “5-star” feel is more comparable to luxury resorts from around 2015.
