JOIA Bávaro by Iberostar - Adults Only - All Inclusive

This resort is a great location for couples. I traveled with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. I’m not sure if this is the place to travel with a group of friends though. The food options were amazing, even the buffet surprisingly. We had Houston and Jose as our butlers and they went above and beyond for us. They really mad sure that we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. Joia is the highest quality resort they have on the property so it comes with a lot of perks. You would be able to go to the other resorts nearby and explore them as well but they cannot come to Joia

Excellent services, nice staff, delicious food, amazing entertainment ( the best). Really clean resort. I recommend it 💯 percent. Special thanks to ( Resort Subdirector).

Here are the pros and cons of this resort. Honest Review. The resort itself was great. We enjoyed the pool and the daily water classes (aqua bike, aqua aerobics). The instructors were fun and the pool was about half full of people enjoying the class. The spa was also great for massages, but did not have additional facilities (sauna, hot tub) like many resorts do. The restaurants were good, some better than others. The main dining was pretty good, with lots of variety, and theme food nights. The steak restaurant and the Asian restaurant were pretty great. The Italian was okay and the Dominican one was not good. The nightly entertainment was good with singers every night and staff that encourages you to get up and dance with them. Drinks were plentiful and good. While each night had a different theme, it did get a little old by the end. They also had a theatre production each night, but we did not go. Cons: Because we got the basic room, we did not get a cabana. Chairs by the pool were limited. Beach chairs were plentiful, but because of the seaweed bloom, swimming there was icky. Beware of the "concierge." These are really salespeople who are trying to sell you a "membership" to Iberostar. When I asked them to help with Spa reservations, he told me to "go on the app." It was also difficult to get dinner reservations at the specialty restaurants. Tip: You can sit at the tables outside the specialty restaurants with no reservations.

My wife and I love this resort. We’ve been coming here for about 12 years now and every time the staff is incredible! The food is amazing! The bartender Tobias make you feel right at home and makes incredible drinks! I highly recommend this adults only resort to everyone!
