This property is a delightful historic gem very close to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. The owners are kind and generous and the home was quiet and peaceful. Art decorates the walls, bright windows open to the beautiful green spaces outdoors. We would recommend anyone visit when they are in town.

The room was great, with a lot of character. Adriana and her husband Constantin were both so friendly and nice, and made great conversation. Adriana is quite the artist and has many of her own works around the house and rooms and loves to talk about art, her travels, and more if she has the time. The location of the BnB also can't be beat - just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk, arcade, restaurants, and so much more, but still maintains a quiet atmosphere.

The Cliff was perfectly located in Santa Cruz by the boardwalk and downtown - the rooms were very comfortable - one small downside was the having to use a shared bathroom on the second floor - The breakfast was incredible and exactly what I was looking for - great B&B - use it - Adriana is a Peach!

Constantin and Adriana really made our stay more memorable. They were so gracious and made sure we were comfortable. She even prepared our breakfast and it was set in the parlor where you can see the garden . Definitely will come back and stay at this hotel.

Adriana made sure we had enough food. We ate breakfast while looking out into the yard shaded by redwood trees. This is truly a unique experience. You won't find service like this even at those expensive hotels. The house is a historic landmark, so don't expect luxury. We felt welcomed and we're treated like family, not just guests. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and have tons of history in them. They are filled with antiques and Adriana's artwork. The beds were comfortable. If you are tired of being dissapointed by over priced hotels then try something different. You won't be disappointed.

The service and hospitality provided by the owners, Adriana and Constantine, are excellent. If you love artistic, classic colonial setting, this place is for you. The only drawback for our room is a very loud bathroom fan and blocked fireplace.
