Nice spacious villa with private swimming pool, and beautiful sunsets. The location is great because it’s just 10/15 min away from Kendwa and Nungwi. The villa is fully equipped so very practical. Omar, the manager, is the sweetest person, very helpful and problem solver. He is very reactive and available at any time. He really makes the difference.

There is no real beach in front ( white sand and nice swimming access) as everywhere else I stayed on the Island. Also, when you stay at the pool there is direct access to the “private” space so there were kids and maasai talking or looking at us approaching or even joining us at the pool. About the villa The only thing that I don’t like is the missing Air conditioner in the living room area. We refreshed the space opening the doors of the rooms but when everyone go to sleep and close the doors the living room gets very hot.

We were looking for relaxation, peace, quiet, beach view, beach walks, away from everything, with the option and ability to walk around as well as experience the island and got it all. Transport was easy to arrange. Well-maintained 3-bedroom unit. Aircons in all rooms. Enough space for clothing in each room for two people, with hangers. Rooms and open lounge/kitchen/dining area are very spacious and comfortable. We wanted to cook ourselves - it met all our needs. The restaurant is great value for money. The staff is simply the best. The manager was in contact and available all the time, with a BIG smile.

There is nothing we did not like. There is no TV, but we really liked the absence of one. To buy food to cook, you have to travel into Nungwi - something we did not mind at all.

The ocean views from this villa are absolutely stunning — truly the highlight of the stay. Waking up to that scenery and watching the sunset over the water was unforgettable. We also had our breakfast outdoors by the pool and the ocean breeze made the experience beautiful. The staff is lovely and accommodated our requests. They do not have much available onsite, without pre-booking, so do keep that in mind. Taxi from the villa to Nungwi is $35, but to be honest the sunset at the villa is more peaceful than Nungwi beach.

The villa does not have air conditioning in the common areas, and the ones in the bedrooms are not fully effective due to the fluctuating current (however, this place is advertised as an air-conditioned villa). The heat made it very uncomfortable to use the common areas during much of the day and this significantly impacted our ability to fully enjoy the space. The internet is choppy due to the electricity not being stable, although I suppose the property cannot do much about this. If you’re visiting during a cooler season and are comfortable without AC, the views alone may make it worthwhile. For us, though, the lack of climate control outweighed the positives.
