VICK Boutique Hotel with New power backup

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa and would absolutely recommend it to others. The property is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor areas are particularly impressive, with a lovely pool area offering several options for lounging and relaxing, as well as a stunning rooftop terrace where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the sea. The villa also features six double bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a laundry area, and it's conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the beach. From the 10' nearby-beach, during low-tide you can walk to Nungwi or Kendwa beaches easily. A special mention goes to the staff, who are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and to the owner, who was exceptionally responsive, helpful, and always available whenever we had questions.

The only aspect I think could be described more clearly in the listing is the villa's layout. Rather than being one large, connected house, the accommodation is spread across two separate buildings within the same property. The ground-floor building includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, and a dining area. The second building, located next door on the same property, contains two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a kitchen on the first floor. It's worth noting that the kitchen is not fully equipped for independent cooking, as some basic cookware such as pots and pans was not available. This setup means that guests staying in one part of the property do not have direct access to all the living spaces of the other. In addition, there are two further bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, accessible directly from the pool area. Another point worth mentioning is that the owner and staff are present on the property. While they are very discreet and respectful, their presence does slightly reduce the feeling of complete privacy. As two families traveling together, we had initially been looking for a fully private villa where we could all gather and independently organize meals and evenings. The layout was therefore a little different from what we had expected. However, we quickly adjusted and ended up discovering some fantastic local restaurants nearby, serving truly extraordinary food at very reasonable prices, which became a highlight of our stay. Overall, we had a great experience. The villa is beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, the hospitality is outstanding, and the location is excellent. As long as guests understand the property's layout before booking, I'm sure they will have a wonderful stay just as we did. We would happily recommend it.

Everything was perfect, people are friendly and always helpful and kind

The property was nice and clean with A/C and generator that was switched on when the city power supply dropped. Also, clean swimming pool, clean rooms and friendly staff

It is not on the beach line and not many restaurants around (a few minutes walk) but considering the value for money it is close enough

Vic the host did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our family really appreciated her efforts.

I found walking to the beach a little tiresome (as it would be nice to stay on the actual beach), but its only about ten minutes walk to the beach so its my problem for not wanting to walk :) and not the properties as I knew that the property is located on the water.
