Gypcey Home Arugam Bay

Great location, breakfast was really good cooked by Muza the awesome host of the property (even though we are vegan he still coked up a variety of great dishes at what ever time suited) easy walk to the main strip ( we are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 6), room Was clean shower was hot

Gypcey home is a cute little place. It has a few rooms that surround a nice courtyard and communal area which has a pleasant vibe. A quick walk from main street but also quietly tucked away enough to be quiet.

The pictures of the rooms themselves might make them look slightly bigger than they are. Would recommend this place as being more suited for a budget conscious couple or family looking for a an affordable option rather than a group traveling together (unless your preference is for a good price and don’t mind a more compact room). It would have been nice to have a few more towels and linen as there were no hand towels, bath mats or beach towels. The aircon we had was very effective at cooling the place which is really important in A Bay which can be extremely hot, but we could not adjust the temperature and it was stuck on 16 degrees the whole time (which was way better than having no aircon but also got a bit chilly at times and we didn’t have much in the way of blankets for sleeping).
