Rio Homestay was a welcoming, convenient, safe place to stay while on the Pekoe Trail. Our host was very welcoming and greeted us with a cuppa tea which we appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect with restaurants two minutes walk away and the train station a 5 minute walk. The perfect find!

L'hôte etait très gentil, il nous a très bien accueilli. Il vous propose également un tuktuk le lendemain pour aller voir le levé du soleil, partir vers 5h30.
Il y a quand même du bruit, de l'eau qui coulé sur une tolle, l'appelle de la prière à 5h du matin. La propreté reste à revoir.

Clean and tidy room with a nice little balcony. The area was a bit down at heel but the very friendly owners made every effort to welcome me and help me.
It was a bit close to the mosque which meant that you hear the early morning call to prayer. To get to the Homestay, you have to find your way through a muddle of shops and workshops but it's worth the effort.
