GOLDEN CABIN ELLA

Only stayed one night. Really convenient for town centre but still very quiet. Good breaks fast. Nice tooled away feel to the place.

No TV was available

Nice clean, comfortable and fairly spacious room. As it appeared in pictures. Comfortable bed with good pillows. A powerful fan made up for the lack of AC and we didn't miss it. A nice seating area out front and a decent sized bathroom. A basic breakfast of omelette, sausage, fries and toast was provided from the attached restaurant next door. Laundry service was helpful. Staff were so lovely and welcoming.

The wifi was fairly poor overall with frequent drops but just about worked for basic browsing. The shower was not the greatest with fluctuations in water temp and fairly low pressure. The location was good and close to the town centre, however, it is up a steep hill so worth knowing. Tuktuks can take you up though. The other thing was another symptom of the area as it's in the mountains, the room was quite damp after a couple of days.

We stayed 2 nights, there weren’t hot water on any of these nights, it was very inconveniente because the weather temperature was 18°C. We had 2 rooms (1 double and 1 triple room), because we were 3 adults and 2 small children (4 and 7yo), but once we payed, we had to pay for the childrens breakfast additional, however the breakfast was included, strange… Even tought, the omlette was cold on both morning. From the main street there is a very narrow and steep small street, so think twice if you can’t climb. I would choose another accomodation for the next time 100%.
