Perfect location, as it's only five minutes walk from the bus station on the main street and yet still pretty quiet at night (the lane is quite steep though). This means you don't need to rely on tuktuks, which are very expensive in Ella. I read reviews that the room was too small, but actually it's a pretty standard size for Sri Lanka. Price is also cheaper for a private room than anywhere else in central Ella. The owners are nice and helpful. Wifi was good. Room was clean.
Free drinking water would be nice so we don't have to waste plastic bottles.
