Beautiful countryside near Alton Towers

We had a lovely stay, close to Alton Towers and beautiful countryside. The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable.

The only downside was we couldn’t stay longer.

Great place to stay for the weekend

The cottage was clean, tidy and had plenty of facilities for what we needed and was in the ideal spot for Uttoxeter and Alton Towers. Plus being able to watch the alpacas was an added bonus. If you need it there's also a nice field and play area for kids.

For 6 adults the seating area was a bit of a squeeze and the pillows were a little uncomfortable. The check out time was a little tight in the morning but you can understand why.

Overall a good location just a few touches in doors that could be improved

The beautiful farm location.

Not the most baby friendly destinations. Floors and rugs need a deep clean.Utensils and cups need replacing. Lots of high ceilings and beams that need a good dust. Especially for the price of the stay.

Great holiday home especially for families

Grand size for the few days staying with 2 families with 2 small kids. Very convenient location. Had plenty of kitchen equipment and plates, bowls, glasses etc. had some tea, coffee, sugar washing up liquid which was great help. Plenty of outdoor seating and little play area. Liked meeting the alpacas, the guinea pigs and Oscar the dog. Lovely and quiet. Will definitely book again

Unpleasant stay uncomfortable lack of sleep spoiled my daughter birthday which should of been a happy time

There where ants all over the cottage it was so uncomfortable the kids could not settle no one could sleep we told to staff and they offered to put ant powder down but we had small children and I told them this would of been unsafe so we went to Alton towers came back and there was even more ants in the cottage told the staff again they came with a bottle off water and vinegar a small bottle as they said this was all they had left this did not help as the ants kept coming it made the stay really unpleasant and we ask to be moved but they said they’re was no where else to put us abd we had booked pard tickets for the weekend for my daughters birthday so we had no choice
