Au fil de l'eau

A lovely overnight stop in a beautiful tranquil spot by the river. Don’t be put off by the approach through a Zone Industrial - once you reach the property you are in an oasis of calm! Dominique (and his gorgeous dog Izzy) is a very attentive host and keen to make sure you know how everything operates in the room. The attention to detail is evident - hi tech fixings including electric shutters, filtered air, air con etc we had a great nights sleep! The walk along the river Loire is very relaxing and lots of nature, frogs and birds. Breakfast overlooking the river was a nice way to start the day watching the kingfisher. Dominique has completed much of the renovation himself to a very high standard and the new terrace will be a real addition when it is completed. Thank you for having us - it was good to meet you.

Nothing

This was the ideal stopover on our trip back to Dieppe from Bergerac. Such a beautiful setting with the gardens and lake. The owner (and his dog) was very friendly and explained all the clever little details in our rooms (such as covers to stop light from the air-con controls keeping you awake). The beds were SO comfortable, breakfast was delicious pastries and bread, served outside. We all slept very well. Everything was sparklingly clean and new. The location is surprising because satnav takes you to a commercial/industrial area! But once you find the small road that leads to the property you’re soon surrounded by greenery. It was only 10 mins drive to the old part of Le Mans which was well worth the visit - we went at night for dinner and to see the cathedral illuminations, then again the next morning to explore. Overall this is an excellent place to stay whether you’re on a stopover like us, or are spending a few days in Le Mans.

Aussergewöhnliche Traumlage in parkähnlichen Grundstück, mit Frühstück am kleinen See. Zimmer sehr hell, freundlich, sehr komfortabel. Gastgeber sehr aufmerksam und flexibel. Klimaanlage eine Wohltat bei Hitzewetter. Un emplacement exceptionnel et de rêve sur une propriété aux allures de parc, avec petit-déjeuner au bord du petit lac. Les chambres sont très lumineuses, accueillantes et d'un grand confort. Les hôtes sont très attentionnés et flexibles. La climatisation est une véritable bénédiction par temps chaud.

Frühstück bitte kontinental, nicht französisch. Pour le petit-déjeuner, veuillez opter pour la formule continentale, et non française.
