From an era of times gone by, immerse yourself in the vintage “Up North” cottage from a more simple time. Built in the 1940’s, “Island View Point” has been welcoming family and travelers to the shores of Crooked Lake for over 80 years. If walls could talk there would be stories of vintage wooden boats cruising the narrows out in front of the cottage, kids fishing stories, and the ski bums spending the day at Nubs Nob, or Boyne Highlands. Friends playing golf, fishing from the dock, or going into town for a movie, world class dinner, or to find that elusive “Petoskey Stone”. Relax and have that cup of coffee at sunrise listening to loons calling to each other on the lake or strike out and take a canoe or kayak around Oden Island and see what nature has in store. Island View Point features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry onsite, and a great deck for entertaining those summertime parties. With modern amenities, a spectacular location, and old world charm, Island View Point is the only place you need to be. We look forward to seeing you real soon! The property was very clean and very well stocked for anything we might have cooked! Great gathering areas for our family group of 8. The view of the lake was so beautiful! We had our elderly parents with us and the two bathrooms and bedrooms on the main floor were perfect! Great dock for fishing off of and we even rented their pontoon for a day which we enjoyed very much. Would definitely recommend and would love to return!
