About this house rental
As parents of young children, we know firsthand that navigating what is hoped to be a relaxing vacation can often be very stressful. So we created a space that would accommodate needs of families w/ kids of all ages, whilst providing parents with a cozy space for rest & relaxation. With its 3000 sq ft, 11 tree lined acres, and massive rec room w/ arcade, swing-set, basketball, rock wall, pool/ping pong; there is something for everyone and is sure to make your next vacation just that...a VACATION
Accommodates up to 10 guests with comfy and thoughtfully appointed bedrooms
- One master suite with king bed, large closet, and television
- One twin suite with two double beds, television, connecting bathroom,
and connected kids room which includes a twin bunk bed
- One bunkie house with full/queen combo bunk bed
Relaxation meets luxury with many indoor and outdoor conveniences
- Beautiful, stocked kitchen with all cookware, dinnerware, appliances,
Keurig coffee maker, etc. you will need
- Indoor hot tub/exercise pool
- Soaking tub and large shower with double rainfall shower-heads in the
main bath
- Large, 2nd story balcony overlooking the charm & beauty of wooded s
scenery, complete w/ rockers & swing chairs for your comfort
- Massive feather blend sectional couch that's perfect for both
entertaining friends and family or enjoying peaceful moments on

- 75" television centered above 3 cozy recliners for enjoying the game, a movie, or catching up on your favorite show

- Kids nugget couch
Misc. consumable items we have for your convenience include:
- Kitchen: dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, coffee (regular+decaf),
salt/pepper, olive oil
- Bath: soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tissues, toilet paper
- Adult: hair dryer, iron, ironing board, room fans, hangers
- Kids: sippy cups, cups, bibs, silverware, bowls/plates, Pack 'n Play, high
chair, kitchen helper step stool, humidifier
For our EV drivers, don't fret, we have you covered with a ChargePoint Level 2 charger on-site and free to use
Up to 2 dogs are welcome to stay for an additional fee of $50/pet
- A sizable, fenced-in backyard provides a secure area, perfect for furry
friends to roam and play freely
- Water and food dish provided
Other things to note:
Must be at least 25 years of age for booking
There is a strict No Party Policy
- Quiet hours 9pm-9am. This means keep exterior noise to a minimum and there will be decibel sensors in place to monitor this; please be respectful of outdoor disruptions.
There is a strict No Trespassing Policy. No trespassing signs are present and a property map will be provided to you in the Guest Handbook.
***violations of either of these and we will ask you to vacate the property immediately

We had an amazing stay at the Birch & Bark Retreat. It was the perfect place to relax and cozy up on the couch, but still close to Petoskey for a little day trip. All the amenities are great, it's a great place to have fun with 2 people or the whole family.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It is as beautiful as the pictures and the location was so quiet surrounded in woods. Jason was very easy to work with and quick to respond. We would definitely go again!

This was a prefect place to call home during fall break! Great location that is very secluded in the woods so you get that ambiance while only being 15 minutes from town. The home itself couldn’t have been more perfect - had everything we could have needed and so many special touches to make it feel like home. The rec room downstairs was amazing for a family of varying ages. Hosts were extremely responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very cozy and neat place! Lots of thing to do, including a children’s gym area and toys. Everything was clean upon arrival. I appreciate how well equipped and labeled the kitchen and home was. Will definitely rebook and recommend to family and friends.
