Just the ticket!
Compact flat easily walkable into Reading (15 minutes approx walk to station). Clean and secure with good communication throughout stay. Thank you again for accommodating us with about four hours notice as we were let down by another property.

Great flat. Poor cleaning staff.
The flat itself, once cleaned was lovely. It was on the whole well maintained although the dining chairs were very shabby. It was easy access to the town centre and the landlady albeit over the phone was very helpful.
We had a bit of a nightmare, but I think it was mainly due to the cleaners. We received three texts to say the flat wouldn't be ready on time and when we finally did get in, the cleaner was still there, claiming he had not received any bedding, so we had to wait. There was a bucket of dirty water in the middle of the floor and lots of little things that hadn't been finished. 30 mins later, he came in and told us he had quit the job. No real reason given, but it left us a little confused and cross. Eventually the beds were ready, but the cleaners didn't leave until 11pm. The next day, we were told that they would drop off dishwasher tablets and bin bags which I had to ring the landlady for as by 5pm the next day, nothing had arrived. Eventually, we got what we needed, but it was a very poor start. Even then, the sink had no plug, so we couldn't wash up by hand, and there was only one fan despite being told each room had two. Very disappointing, although we did receive some money back.
