Beautiful property, photos don’t do it justice. Just what we needed as a base whilst at reading festival. Great location and so comfy it felt like home whilst we were there. Shower is hot and powerful, comfy bed, great kitchen and very quiet nights sleep considering it was festival weekend! Thank you to our wonderful host who was exceptionally good at communicating and facilitating our needs.

The host was extremely helpful and responsive, quickly providing a desk and chair so I could work remotely as planned. The property is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants, and very convenient for my stay.
The room itself was very clean, but the entrance and staircase leading up to it were noticeably smelly and not well maintained. The space was also very warm, and without air‑conditioning I couldn’t open the windows because the property is opposite several pubs and it was very noisy with the football on. I appreciate that this isn’t something the host can control, but it did make the stay uncomfortable. The bed was also quite uncomfortable, and the bedding felt low‑quality.
