Nice appartment with city center location

This is a loft-style apartment with an excellent kitchen (including a gas stove), very nice interior design, and a very large bed.

For a self-driving traveler, the check-in and parking process was quite complicated: you need to stop the car on the street, find the key box for the main gate, drive in and park, then locate another key box to access the apartment. As someone with a Dutch driving license but unfamiliar with the city center and its narrow streets, I found it stressful to find a suitable place to stop the car, and at one point I almost panicked when I couldn’t find the key box. For visitors who are not familiar with European driving conditions, parking here may be challenging; arriving during the daytime would be much easier due to better visibility.

Great host who was super quick to reply and very accommodating

We loved have secure parking in the inside courtyard. The place is super chic and beds were comfortable. Apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

Little difficult understanding how to get the car into the courtyard and where to park but once inside it was fantastic and safe.

It was a fabulous loft apartment style property. Converted to high standards and perfect for our family of 4. It was a convenient walk to Rouen old town and to local amenities.

Fabulous apartment in a prime location

Stunning apartment, very well presented, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Prime location giving you easy access into the city centre and free, secure courtyard parking. Felt safe and secure and lovely neighbours. We stayed as a couple but this place is very well suited to 4 people as 2 separate bedrooms. 1 being on a mezzanine floor. Mattress was exceptionally comfortable.

Bedding smelt musty like it hadn't dried properly and the sofa in the living room is a sofa bed and wasn't so comfortable to sit on.

This place could be brilliant but needs some significant TLC.

Great size for two people, well equiped kitchen, and the location was great. Great to have heating/radiators so we could dry towels, and dry clothes that got wet in a thunderstorm. Great to have airconditioning for the hot days/nights.

This place was not clean. There were many pans that were dirty and greasy, shelving in the bedroom was thick with dust and grime. The kitchen work surfaces were sticky and the fridge wasn't clean. There were various IT bits and pieces including a monitor/TV and various wires 'chucked' on the floor in the walk in wardrobe, there were extra duvet 'thrown' on one of the shelves in the upstairs bedroom and what looked like used bed linen in a cupboard in the downstairs bedroom. The bed linen was very nylon/synthetic making sleep difficult- ended up using beach sheets to sleep on/between for more comfort. The WIFI didn't work through out our stay. There was also plug sockets that were coming off the wall. The outdoor space is a suntrap- too hot without some shade from an umbrella or awning.

Lovely accommodation in a great location

Great apartment in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the historic centre of Rouen. Appreciated the secure parking. We are a family of 5 with a dog and the apartment was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us. We stayed as a stopover en route to the south, and enjoyed our evening in Rouen, it was very buzzy with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. The historic centre is beautiful.

Excellent location

The appartment was beautiful! The location was excellent and we appreciated the free and secure parking space (even though it was a bit tight with a bigger car!). Loved the steel curtains, could really get the house dark for the night. The neighborhood was fairly quiet. Aircon and wifi worked well.

There were some details that if fixed would elevate the place from good to excellent - cleaning being the first of them. There were some stains on the kitchen counter, the kettle needed washing and the oven definitely needs scrubbing. Others: the lock on the bathroom didn't work, the upstair bed had a bad dent on it on the other side, no hairdryer.

Amazing apartment, had everything we needed.

Amazing place and great value ! Free parking in secure locked courtyard. We stayed here with 3 adults and 2 small dogs at no extra charge as an overnight stop on the way from UK to Spain. Good location for walking 5 minutes into town for dinner. We visited a nice pizzeria which was just what we needed after a long first drive.

No negatives but beware if arriving at night there is no lighting outside and very dark and must enter half way into the property get turn on a light.

L'interrupteur pour la lumière du séjour se trouve au fond, du côté de la chambre. Quand vous arrivez de nuit, il faut traverser pour pouvoir allumer la lumière de la pièce principale. Pareil dans la chambre du fond, il faut aller jusqu'au lit pour allumer le plafonnier. Enfin, pas de guide. Dans la plupart des appartements que nous avons loué, il y avait un recueil avec les instructions, et des recommandations. Rien de tel ici. Résultat, nous n'avons pas pu nous servir du wifi car nous n'avons pas trouvé le code.

Excellent !!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans ce logement. Tout était parfaitement conforme à l’annonce, voire au-delà de nos attentes. Le loft est superbe, très propre, spacieux et décoré avec goût. Nous étions en famille et chacun a trouvé sa place, le logement est très confortable et fonctionnel. L’emplacement est idéal, calme et proche du centre. Les explications pour l’arrivée et le départ étaient claires, ce qui rend l’accès très simple. L’hôte est disponible, réactif et très agréable. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et recommandons ce logement sans hésitation. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Seul petit point à noter : la chambre du fond était légèrement fraîche, mais rien d’alarmant et cela n’a en rien impacté la qualité de notre séjour. Il est également dommage de ne pas avoir pu profiter pleinement de la terrasse à cause du froid, mais cela reste indépendant du logement.

Bref pour les maniaques du ménage 🧹 c est pas la qu il faut venir On a laissé plus propre la cuisine qu a notre arrivée Si le propriétaire des lieux fait appel à une société extérieure, il faut qu’il en change absolument. C’est vraiment dommage de voir ce joli loft aussi peu entretenu. Néanmoins, nous avons passé un bon moment entre amis, mais nous ne reviendrons pas

Locatie en parkeren prima voor een stad als Rouen, maar de hygiëne laat echt te wensen over.

Locatie is top voor de stad te bezoeken. Alles op wandel afstand

Hygiëne Gehorig Vies en plakkerig keukengerei. Badkamer was met een vette doek "schoongemaakt" Toen wij arriveerden waren de bedden slordig opgemaakt en stinken muf. De keuken was heel vies en er stond nog een volle vuilniszak van de vorige bewoners. Na overleg met de eigenaar ( die overigens super aardig was) is hij terug gekomen om de bedden te verschonen. Daarnaast liet hij een fles wijn achter. Maar het stoorde ons echt dat alles echt een goede poetsbeurt kan gebruiken. Hierdoor hebben wij dan ook alleen maar geslapen, een koffietje gedronken en verder niets...

Très beau loft, décoré avec goût. On s'y sent bien et l'hôte est joignable. Il est proche du centre ville historique et dispose d'une place de parking. Les chiens sont acceptés.
