Kaskazi Hotel Zanzibar

Our stay at Kaskazi was truly exceptional, and it is an experience we will remember for a long time. ❤️ From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by such a warm, friendly, and attentive team. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The facilities were beautiful, but what really makes Kaskazi special is its location and atmosphere. The entire property is stunning, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It truly feels like a place where you can slow down, relax, and simply enjoy your surroundings. The dinner buffet was outstanding, with an amazing variety of fresh and delicious dishes. We genuinely looked forward to dinner every evening! What impressed us most, however, was the personalised service. That level of genuine care and attention is something you don’t find everywhere and really made our stay feel special. A very special thank you to Judith, whose warmth, kindness, and attention to detail truly made a difference during our stay. Her genuine care is something we will remember. And thank you to Sara, the Guest Relations Manager, for always checking up on us throughout our stay and making sure everything was going well. We really appreciated her attentiveness and professionalism. A huge thank you to the entire Kaskazi team for making our stay so memorable. We left with nothing but wonderful memories and would absolutely love to return. ❤️

What an amazing place! The location is beautiful with the pool overlooking the ocean. Rooms are nicely designed and spacious. What really makes this property remarkable is that every little detail is just good. One of us were celebrating their birthday during the stay and they helped us celebrate in such a nice way! I have never met such an amazing staff as the staff of Kaskazi. Everyone is super helpful and by the end they even knew us by name. The food of the buffet is very good. There is a lot of variety and no day was the same.

The property is a bit remote so you need a driver to go anywhere. However, it is also a big plus since it is very quiet and a good place to relax

The wifi was suspect the first 2 days, kept drropign in an out but it was due to a technical issue on the island and was resolved

Wow, Kaskazi exceeded all my expectations, and then some. Sara and her team are beyond exceptional, we were so sad to leave. Food was really great, room was super comfy and large, especially the bathroom with a great bath. Loved the hammock and upstairs daybed. Ocean is amazing, I loved the tides. Massage at the spa was top tier. Whatever else we needed, was supplied without delay. Loved the decor for our intimate romantic dinner. Food portions are huge. Drinks were amazing. Cannot wait to go back. I’ll be practicing more Swahili for my return! All the staff, from the Masai (love them!) to the waiters to the barmen to the chefs to the managers, were all incredibly kind, friendly, competent, well spoken and amazing. Feels like I made friends. Just wow! “Tumewashika mioyoni — shukrani zetu ni kubwa kuliko maneno. Tuliwapenda sana, na uzuri na furaha mlizotupa hatutasahau kamwe.
