Casa Paradis Boutique Hotel

Everything about the hotel is brilliant - the room was great and you can literally walk on to the idyllic beach from the hotel. It felt very homely, the whole place is pristine, the food was incredible and the staff and owners were amazing.

From the second you step foot into the resort, you are entirely immersed in a unique paradise experience. What Valentin & Denisa have created here is truly remarkable. From the decor in the bathroom to the fresh juice at breakfast, every single aspect has been meretriciously thought out to give you the ultimate 5* experience. The staff are exceptional and a special shout out to William who looked after us throughout our stay and made the best passion fruit cocktails ever! The food cannot be missed, it is unbelievable, not just the best we’ve eaten in Zanzibar but some of the best meals we’ve ever eaten, and my husband is a chef so we don’t say that lightly. If I could give this place 100* I still don’t think it would be enough. Thank you to all at Casa Paradis for making our Zanzibar trip so memorable. We will definitely be back in the not so distant future.

The hosts, Denisa and Valentin, were absolutely lovely. Great atmosphere for those loooking for a quiet and upscale retreat. Extraordinary dining at the inhouse restaurant. The included breakfast was so good and hearty we practicaly didn't need lunch.

A wonderful place. Quiet, but also in the midst of local dynamics which takes place on the beautiful white sand beach and the neighboring village. Always something to see: fisherman sailing out, children playing, women searching for small crabs in the sand, teens playing football, a few Masai gentlemen that are trying to sell their jewellery. In short: daily Zanzibar-life in front of your eyes. Very interesting and fun to watch. The pool is marvelous; you can always find a spot with some natural shade of the palmtrees. Only a few rooms in this hotel, so very quiet all day; if you are looking for peaceful surroundings....this is the place to be. Valentin and Denisa are wonderful hosts, thanks to both! The team in the kitchen performs miracles; the food is fresh and excellent. Refined dishes, delicate flavours. I cannot imagine a better place in Zanzibar to have dinner. Breakfast is abundant and fresh. Perfect. All staff, without exception, is kind and very friendly. Special thanks to William and Marco. Great guys, also helping us learning Swahili. Asante Sana guys! People in Zanzibar are overall very friendly and welcoming. Do you need anything else?

We enjoyed everything. Power supply is a struggle in Zanzibar, but the the generator takes over if needed. At night they cannot use the generator because of the noise, so that means the fan or airco temporarily does not work. Nothing to really worry about. Hakuna matata!
