Tranquility, homely, lovely staff, beautiful setting and lovely authentic touches with such a tasteful mix of the best of cultures. Amazing restaurant with exceptional dishes, atmosphere and service.

Casa Paradis truly lives up to its name – it is a little piece of paradise in Jambiani. From the moment we arrived, the owners and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to every guest are exceptional. They are true hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The hotel itself is beautiful, with incredible attention to detail in every corner. Everything is perfectly maintained and in excellent condition, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food was outstanding throughout our stay – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every meal was something to look forward to. Thank you to the whole Casa Paradis team for such a wonderful experience. We will truly miss this special place and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, and unforgettable stay in Zanzibar!

This hotel is beyond paradise. We do not quite have the words to do this place justice. No stone has been left unturned, the attention to detail is beyond anything I have seen in hospitality. From lighting, to aircon to service and design, this place is luxurious. We would pay way above asking to stay at this place again. People seem to take issue with the lack of lunch here, there are many many places for a quick bite a few steps away. The boutique vibe of the hotel and restaurant requires you to order in advance, this was a huge plus for us, every expectation in terms of food was exceeded, the quality, freshness and service was exemplary. I had a lobster main for the equivalent of £40 or so, the portion was generous, larger than any I have had in the UK (and I eat a LOT of seafood) and it was cooked to perfection.

Very peaceful, only a handful of rooms means that Casa Paradis feels very private with plenty of space to unwind Breakfast really tasty and well presented - so much good food with a plate of fruit, pastry/ crepe/ cake of the day (with local/homemade honey, jams, syrup), smoothie, coffee of your choice, bread/ flatbread and then eggs of your choosing For a hotel with only 5 or 6 rooms the pool is a really generous size. There are also loads of loungers around the pool so you can follow the sun all day at your leisure Beautifully styled rooms Love that it’s an eco conscious hotel, bare foot with no shoes required really makes you feel like you are in paradise Some great restaurants and bars only a short walk up the beach Owners very responsive over WhatsApp. Someone always available to look after you Beautiful bar area upstairs above the restaurant over looking the beach Hammock and furniture outside the rooms were so comfortable you could lay on them for hours! Warm welcome from the owners, great communication the day before we arrived and even reached out to a few local places for us where we could watch the World Cup!

Very little! The bar can shut early, but in fairness we didn’t eat at the restaurant and Jambiani does tend to get very quiet around 9pm anyway so it’s not exclusive to Casa Paradis and there are a couple of beers in the fridge in the room If you were staying for 7 days then the breakfast, while delicious I must stress again!!, could maybe get repetitive. It would be good to rotate the cooked option every 3rd day for example. We only had 3 days of breakfast so this could actually already be the case
