Mala Boutique Hotel

Our stay at Mala Hotel in Paje was without a doubt the highlight of our trip and our favourite hotel in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality, genuine friendliness, and exceptional service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail really made our stay feel special. The rooms were absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, immaculately maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Every aspect of the hotel has been thoughtfully considered, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the beach and everything Paje has to offer. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food, which was consistently delicious, and the entertainment added a lovely touch to our evenings. What truly sets Mala Hotel apart is the care and pride the team takes in delivering an outstanding guest experience. The attention to detail can be seen in everything they do, from the presentation of the rooms to the quality of the service. We left with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to return. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended!

The only small point worth mentioning is that our room was on the ground floor near the reception and bar area, so there was occasionally some noise from guests walking past and using the stairs. It certainly didn't detract from our stay, but if possible, this might be a room best allocated last when the hotel is particularly busy.

Such an incredible hotel right on the beach. The staff were amazing, always so smiley and friendly. The food was delicious, And there live music night was a really lovely atmosphere. We had a couple great massages at good prices. I would definitely stay here again.

The beach access was perfect and there was an excellent viewing point set up high on the beach where you could view the entire beach from a boat. There was also activities nearby like jet ski and wind surfing that are pretty good. The hotel food was exceptional and very well presented. The staff is hospitable and friendly and they always meet you with a smile on tripe faces and they made the entire experience so homely and friendly

Everything was excellent but just to be nit picky, Sometimes the water pressure drops when others are showering.
