Incredible breakfast full of fresh healthy foods, by far the best breakfast we had whilst travelling around the area. Great vegan options! Room was nice and comfy, indoor pool was nice to chill in October. Hotels a bit dated but it's no big deal. Location is great, 15 mins walk from the lake.

In general it was e very nice stay. However it would be useful to have some glasses in the room and may be the possibility to make a tea or a coffee. Towels to take profit of the piscine would be very useful as well. Finally a booklet with details on the hotel and on its service, as well as some tourist information about the region would be welcome. After all no big issues, but it would be helpful to upgrade the service without extraordinary efforts.

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel and we fell in love with it right away. Hotel is located surrounded by mountains and wineyards, about 1,3km from the city centre of Riva del Garda. Walking took around 15 minutes from us when we went to the city for a dinner. Hotel also has their own parking area where was enough space everyday and therefore it’s a perfect location for roadtrips to nearby areas, i.e the mountains and Lago di Tenno. Rooms are bit old fashioned but nice and clean and hotel staff is amazing. There is also a lovely small pool area which was peaceful and not crowded. Breakfast was good too and I just loved their homemade youghurt. One good thing we appreciated was that there was Lidl just around the corner, so it was easy to get some snacks and bottled water. Best moment of the day was to sit in our own terrace in the evening and listen the silence and watch the nat family flying around and sip some local wines. All together, very lovely experience and we are already waiting to get back to beautiful Al Maso <3

Clean, comfortable, modern hotel set outside town among vineyards. We stayed here because it was cheaper than hotels closer to the water. You do need a car to get around, as there is nothing much nearby such as restaurants.But the water and downtown are only 5-10 minutes by car.

The hotel is ideally situated for the Lago lake (20 minutes walk). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was on the ground floor in the annexe building and we found it comfortable and well laid out, with handy adjacent parking. We enjoyed our stay and would return for another visit.

Around 3 km from the coast of Lake Garda, the local area was a little industrial, with construction work and commercial premises. That said there are Orchards to the rear of the property. The pools and wellness areas were good, although it is recommended to bring your own robe or hire one from reception @ 5€. The room was a tad dated and no double beds, just 2 pushed together. Breakfast was OK, although coffee not that good.

We were only a night at the hotel. This is perhaps the reason we got this terrible room. The window was broken, did not close. In the bathroom the shelves were broken. The room smelt damp. The pool and the garden were great. The location in the vineyard is nice, but quite far from the city and the Lago. If you are lucky, you get a room in the new building, we unfortunately not. The price was simply not justified. The evening staff was ok, in the morning very nice. Breakfast ok. For me price performance was not ok. I´m sorry, but never again!

Food was wonderful inexpensive staff we're friendly for the most part specially Georgia the manager she was amazing !! Only complaint was the beds were very hard , they were bikes to use and it was wonderful bike path by the water I would go back there in a heartbeat

I stayed at the Al Maso in June with my partner - we hadn't paid much so much were expecting something fairly basic which is what it is. The hotel is outdated but clean and in a good location - it's about a 20 minute walk from Riva centre, and close to a few good restaurants. The pool is great and always quiet. Breakfast is very basic - although we've been travelling around Italy and stayed at some hotels with amazing breakfasts so may be spoiled. Generic continental breakfast with hams, cheese, pastries etc, although the coffee was awful. There isn't a snack bar so to speak - just the biscuits and buns left over from breakfast. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel so can't comment on that. Although we didn't expect much of the hotel there were a few things that let it down. As a couple, it wasn't too great to be given two single beds pushed together instead of a double. The mattresses were so uncomfortable which is a pain after hiking all day - we both had trouble sleeping while at the hotel. Secondly, there is a mini fridge in the room with water - this is not complimentary! We found this out after being charged when checking out. As there was no price list or anything else in the fridge we hadn't realised. I did try to raise this but the receptionist but she didn't understand (or didn't care). The Lidl a 5 minute walk away sells big bottles for 30c. Overall a basic hotel for a cheap price. Although we didn't have a terrible stay, we wouldn't stay again.
