I didn’t use fireplace or air conditioning

Breakfast selection was poor. Everything was carbs, calories, and fat. Where is the protein?! Room was nice but shower was lacking in water pressure.

Our room was spotless and very nicely appointed. The tall ceilings and beautiful window coverings made it feel gracious and luxurious.

The room was great fireplace and all and the staff was wonderful very accommodating to gorgeous surroundings

Manager was absolutely lovely, atmosphere is beyond clean and relaxing, amenities even down to the soaps were very enjoyable. I had the deluxe king bed with jacuzzi bathtub and it helped me with the reset I needed.

No disturb sign and room wasn’t vacuum. Other than that was agreat stay. A small suggestion just keep a small bell for the front desk just in case no one is there to attend to guests.

Fireplace was amazing, jacuzzi tub was amazing, stand/sit shower was a nice touch, very clean and fresh smelling, forest view helped with fresh air. Staff was very nice. Location was prime with easy access to beach and local businesses. We will be back.

Beautiful location & rooms, just wish I had requested a room facing away from the front entrance. It was noisy with very little privacy as people and car’s continuously pass by. Very kind staff, welcoming & friendly!

Room was clean no soap at sink in bathroom no services available as only one massage therapist works there no other “spa” treatments available. No towels at the hot tub. Plumbing poor. Help at the front desk not very helpful

Great location and easy access. Loved it!

The room really needed more lighting. There is no overhead lighting at all and could use a freestanding lamp in the corner at night. The main room is very dark.

Bed was hard as a rock with a heavy, plastic like comforter.

Great stay overall. I wish they had better breakfast options but the room was clean and spacious, staff was helpful and good overall vibes

Beautiful large room with nice bathroom! Nice hot tub with very steamy steam room is a welcome free touch to help relax! Beds and pillows were firm but not uncomfortably hard or flat (which seems to be the standard for the West Coast!). Room was fairly quiet, and food in town was only a short drive. Very convenient for a morning tour at Hearst Castle!

Went for an anniversary stay-cation, and loved it. Beautiful, clean room with a fireplace. Cute boutique hotel with nice helpful staff too. Easy access to Moonstone beach boardwalk. Will definitely be coming back.

Great stay for a great price , Room was immaculate, staff was great and informative. I will definitely stay here again.

This was a very tranquil and secluded Spa. This will be our go to stay spot.

Every one was super nice. The property was lovely. Inside the room i could hear everything going on . Very thin walls.

The customer service from all staff members was a D! There were excuses daily! We checked out a day early! I’m waiting for a refund for 1 nights stay. I asked for management to call me and haven’t heard from anyone!! Poor!!! Do not stay at this hotel resort!

Beautiful location. 5 minute easy walk on boardwalk path to the beach. 10 minutes to Hearst Castle. Great shops and food options in Cambria. Linn’s shop’s & restaurant is a MUST! Room was nice and the bed so comfortable! It would be nice to have a folding luggage stand as the “closet” is small.

Pet friendly. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. We were missing a window covering from one our windows and had to use a towel for privacy and light block light. There was also a small ant infestation in our room. Probably from previous guests food crumbs. Not a dealbreaker, but woke up to ants crawling around us in the middle of the night. Luckily, they were non biting ants.

Our overnight stay at El Colibri was great! My husband and I loved it. It was quiet, intimate and located right off the Pacific Ocean, where a short stroll took us to the beautiful beach. Walking into the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff, and didn’t even have to wait for our room which was ready for us to check in to even though we arrived 45 min early. Our room was perfect, clean and the view was very accommodating overlooking a wooded area. We could even hear the waves not too far in the distance which instantly instilled peace and relaxation. The bathroom was super clean and had all the amenities. The only thing we could complain about was the water pressure of the shower. It took a long time to rinse all the conditioner out of my hair, and my hubby usually prefers a stronger flow as well. Our bed was very comfortable, such that I didn’t miss my own bed at home. Loved having the fireplace on at night, and hearing the waves crashing in the distance. I didn’t have a hard time falling asleep at all. In the morning we had Starbucks coffee that was supplied in our room, and we were quite satisfied with the grab-and-go continental breakfast items provided in the lobby. We splurged on dinner at Madeline’s Restaurant in town, which was amazing as well, so we weren’t expecting to have an elaborate breakfast anyway lol The best part of our stay had to be the Signature Spa Treatment!! Linden was amazing and we couldn’t say enough about the experience she gave us. ❤️

I loved my stay here. I think it’s my new go-to. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and room. They have a direct pathway that leads you straight to the beach. I can’t hype this place enough.

The room is not anything like the pictures at Expedia. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty which we realized once we got under the shower so we had to use shampoo to wash my body. The entry area was very dirty. Overall it was an ok hotel, but not the "exceptional" rating for which we chose it.
