Staff were nice, breakfast was adequate but breakfast room is too small with not enough tables. Room was disappointing for the price of £180 per night. Rooms need renovating, bath was stained, mattress on both beds were terrible. Sink in the room instead of bathroom makes everyone wake up if you get up in the night, as you have to turn the light on. Would not stay here again.

Great location near cruise port. Room was very comfortable with plenty of room to move around.. Hotel was in easy walking of restaurants & shopping, but there is some noticeable road noise if on the highway side of the building.

It wasn’t quite what we were expecting, but honestly, it turned out to be a good experience. This is more of a boutique hotel with outdoor entries to rooms that’s upscale compared to what you would experience in a motel-type vibe. Room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable - our only downfall was that there was a weird smell and that the seal around the door was broken. Hotel has a great location in downtown Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, short walking distance to Publix, restaurants and more. Close uber ride to Hollywood Beach, and complimentary rides to & from the airport. 1/29 UPDATE: Like most hotels, The Harrison requires you put a credit card down for any incidentals and once you check out, you’ll be refunded the full amount. Fake news. We noticed the charge still showing on our statement and when we spoke with the hotel, we were told that we’ll only be refunded a partial amount of our $152 because the other part of it goes toward the complimentary breakfast, the pool, the complimentary shuttle and the gym. None of this was disclosed on their website or while we were checking in. This should be included in the booking fee, rather than the incidentals/damages. Because of this, I changed my review on Google and Hotels.com.

The room was great and spacious, our only concern was that the pullout couch bed was directly in the light from the bathroom and vanity area so our kids couldn’t immediately fall asleep. Other than that, everything was great! Our room was even ready early!

This was a busy hotel and staff tired to keep up. The ‘free shuttle’ from the airport was frustrating as we waited over an hour for one with space for us and eventually booked an Uber. I also messaged the hotel about the shuttle prior to our arrival and wasn’t responded to Our kids enjoyed the pool and the hotel is a short walk to a few restaurants and some shopping. Breakfast was ok.

Our stay at Hyatt Place was underwhelming from the start. During check-in, I did not feel welcomed, which set a negative tone right away. The room itself was just okay, nothing particularly memorable or impressive. One of the more disappointing aspects was the free breakfast. It was only available until 9:30 a.m., which felt especially inconvenient given that it was during the New Year’s holiday. An extended breakfast time would have been a reasonable and appreciated accommodation for guests. Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations I typically associate with the Hyatt brand.

The location was great you could walk to TJMaxx Hobby Lobby and other stores and restaurants were within walking distance. The hotel room was excellent and the buffet breakfast was excellent. I didn’t give it a five because our room was on the same side as the highway and you could hear the traffic all night. I would definitely stay again I would just ask to stay on the opposite side of the hotel.
