Cute and intimate eco-resort in Tuscany. Great food, cute cabanas with service at the beach and room-service was good too. Great staff. We enjoyed our stay but didn’t find much around outside the resort.

What can I say!!!! Best hotel, Amazing service from check in staff who are amazing and welcoming. They are super helpful and friendly. The manager was amazing, so helpful and accommodating . She helps , and pay attention to little details to make your time great and always with a smile . Restaurant staff were amazing and attentive. Management is superb , and waiters are very highly trained to make guests feel special. Egor was great in particular as he is fast , attentive, and super friendly. We have been coming here for the 4 th time now as it is great and upscaled. It is part of the i prefer hotels . Only my gps keeps taking me to a different location thinking we arrived, but the street is closed. Restaurants, breakfast, dinner, lunch all had great selections. They even arranged couple massages for us on the panoramic terrace. Over all it is 10 out of 10.

Really enjoyed a 5 night stay at the Sense Resort. It's a little further South than the normal, iconic Tuscan coast resorts which is why we chose to stay. However, that does mean that it's a little further away from the main tourist spots and the Follonica lacks the choice of retail, restaurants and entertainment of other well known resorts. The hotel is nice, although I'd say it's more 4 than 5 star with some thought and investment needed to bring it up to a true five star standard. The good: The beach is sandy, clean and there's an allocation system for cabanas and deck chairs - so absolutely no fighting for space! The restaurant staff are amazing. How they cope in the heat with trousers, shirts and ties is beyond me. The rooms are good standard and clean, although the bathroom doesn't have an extractor fan - so it gets very hot with the shower on. The "could be better". Some staff are not nearly as good as the restaurant team - particularly the bellhops and reception. The carpet covering the corridor of the room blocks is old, worn and smells really bad. We actually had to hold our breath from the lift to our room the smell was so bad. Nowhere really to lounge with a coffee or cocktail - seems a really big miss for a hotel aspiring to 5 star. The pool is stuck at the end of the car park, nowhere near the beach or other amenities. Finally, although the standard of food is generally good, choice is limited, no cocktail menu and it's expensive.

We made use of the bicycles on sight and biked near the sea to restaurants. Assigned seats and umbrella at the beach was a nice touch.

Eco-resort in Follonica, private intimate beach with cabanas and bar/food service on the beach. Great restaurant if you’re a foodie ( Eaté). Family-friendly, playground and beach toys/activities. Quiet at night with pleasant live music entertainment ( not too loud) ending at 10pm. Decent suite with bath and shower, comfortable beds, big closet and good coffee machine. Great breakfast included in the stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property itself is simply stunning!! It is very relaxing and a beautiful atmosphere. The service provided by every staff member was one of the best I have received in my many travels over the years. The resort is highly recommended. I would stay here again in a drop of a hat. It is located within 4 miles of the cute town of Follonica where you can find lots of shopping and dining options.

Very clean and modern. Every single person was friendly and helpful. We mentioned it was our honeymoon while he walked to our room. The next day, we came back from lunch with a heart on our bed made out of roses. It was beautiful.

The private beach as well as all the other facilities (swimming pool, tennis court, bikes, watersports) made the experience so relaxing and fun, especially as it was all included and very convenient. Breakfast buffet also had a wide range of options and tasted great! Staff were always so kind and helpful. The hotel itself is also a short 20-min cycle away from the main town with lots of nice restaurants, and even more beaches.

Clean, air condition is great, quality is amazing . Gps or apple map or google do not give accurate location, so you end up waisting 20 minuted going in circles. Put their restaurant address in apple or google and you will reach the hotel . The restaurant’s name is Eatè by pipero

Great resort with a fantastic setup for bathing and sunbathing by the beach. Amazing breakfast and really great rooms. We were only a bit disappointed by the service during the lunches we had at the hotel. Would definitely like to come back!

Everything was fantastic! Only reason I am not giving it a full 10/10 is the food. The Michelin restaurant on the beach that the hotel offers was horrible! It was minimum 140$ per person for 3 courses there were tons of bugs flying around and getting on the food and the food had no flavor, wasn’t properly cooked (the “al dente” pasta was crunchy), and anything with seafood tasted like fishy salt water and nothing else (only exception was the cuddlefish which was okay). The restaurant surrounded by glass was good the seafood however still consisted of that similar saltwater flavor and nothing else. Aside from that the hotel was fantastic! Clean, great service, and beautiful views!

Overall ok. Great cleaning and beach staff. The servants in the restaurant were a bit slow and some rud hut some were nice. The room was very nice except for the hand shower which had no pressure. Interesting detail; the water you flush is hot! Food in the restaurant ok but not as good as the prices would indicate. There are much better alternatives in nearby towns.
