We really enjoyed staying in Joyeux Reveil! The house is beautiful and in a very quiet road but just minutes from the harbor, shops and restaurants. We had a great breakfast with homemade yohurt, jams, fresh breads and pastries and a rice pudding dish. Delicious! The apartment is very spacious with a separate living room, bathroom, toilet and bedroom. A great find!

The hostess was welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was included and she took great pride in serving local dishes, jams and juices. Our bed was comfortable and the kids enjoyed their separate bedroom with bunk beds. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Loved the history of the house and it was very clean with large rooms, a good breakfast, very close to Juno beach. Of course the history of the area we felt very welcome as Canadians visiting close to D-day, Would highly recommend! Roxanne and Dave

The building is very old with amazing charm. The host was wonderful. Breakfast was all homemade, including breads, pastries, jams, apple juice, a baked rice dish and even homemade yogurt (especially delicious with the apple jam). I spoke no French and my daughter spoke only a little, but we had a wonderful conversation over breakfast with the host, a marvelous lady.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room is a small apartment and very spacious. The breakfast consisted of different breads, homemade fruit preserves, coffee, juice, fruits. There is free parking across the street.

We stayed in a family room with the second bedroom off the first, complete with TV, microwave, crockery,kettle and complimentary biscuits etc. Great but unusual butler sink for washing up in. Great breakfast served downstairs by the hosts, with homemade yoghurt and various jams. Plenty of local information is available, some with discounts. Easy walk to the seafront and local restaurants.
