Ideal place for anyone with WW2 memories - it’s by Juno beach.

Nice hotel right on Juno Beach. Good breakfast.

The room was just too small for 5 people. The bathroom was absolutely tiny. There was no door (just a curtain) on the shower room as it wasn’t possible given size of room. Nowhere to sit down inside or outside for our room. This was not the case with all rooms. Double rooms appeared to be more spacious. Not all rooms are in the hotel - ours was in an annex about 200m from the main hotel.

The hotel had great character and charm.

The weather was incredibly hot and not having air con did feel very uncomfortable as our room was in the eaves.

Staff and restaurant very good. Accommodation was adequate but not what we expected.

We did not have breakfast as we had to leave early to catch the ferry home. We would have preferred to stay at La Pecherie and not at Le Manoir d' a cote but did not have a choice.

If we could have been told that our accommodation was a 4 minute walk from the restaurant, prior to our arrival.

Great location and good restaurant.

The restaurant was primarily a fish restaurant. The food was very good and the prices reasonable. It was easy walking distance from the beach and sea front. The nearby Juno Centre commemorating the Canadians part in the Normandy landings was excellent. Breakfast was good.

It was public parking at the front of the hotel, albeit free. There was no bar - though plenty nearby. The staff didn't speak English, though always tried to be helpful.

The toilet/shower facilities aren’t adequate for me. The toilet was so small I couldn’t close the door whilst sitting (I’m only 6ft). The shower was also open to the room.

Super nice in the heart of Courselles-sur-mer. Spacious room, very friendly staff that will speak English as easily as French. The restaurant was really great with a wide selection of regional cuisine. Un bon choix!!!

Dinner was excellent. Staff were very responsive and service was good. Excellent base for anyone visiting Juno beach in particular and not too far from Bayeux or Caen.

No coffee or tea or fridge in the room. Room decor was a little too eclectic and DIY looking but otherwise comfortable. Bread basket at dinner had a stained cloth liner which took away from what was an excellent meal with good service.

Moyen en terme de qualité /prix, personnel très sympa le matin au petit déjeuner

Le petit déjeuner appréciable mais très onéreux par rapport à d autres hôtels

Les chambres et salle de bain moyennement propres. Les WC de la chambre sont sous l'escalier, dans un espace exigu, ou la lumière reste en permanence (car le bouton du temporisateur est HS, ce qui nous à gêné pour dormir, car le WC donne directement dans la chambre (pas top) L hôtel est à 150 mètres de la salle de resto...petite marche à faire le matin pour déjeuner (pas top quand il pleut)

Tromperie sur la marchandise

Nous avons été déçus: voulant réserver à l’hôtel de la pêcherie nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une annexe sans intérêt beaucoup moins bien située. Le site est trompeur, avec un texte et des photos faisant croire que l’on réserve à l’hôtel. Au final nous nous retrouvons dans une chambre « style airbnb » beaucoup trop onéreuse par rapport à la prestation… 150€/nuit .. Le prix devrait être en conséquence….et donc beaucoup moins cher.

L’attitude de la réceptionniste refusant toute discussion et nous envoyant à l’annexe à pied avec nos valises sans accompagnement. Depuis le temps que nous réservons par bookIng c’est la première fois que nous sommes amenés à faire un commentaire négatif.

La qualité des plats au restaurant. Vraiment très bien.

Nous avions payé un dîner la veille et il nous a été réclamé de nouveau le lendemain. Heureusement dîner payé en CB. Vendredi matin beaucoup plus de monde au petit déjeuner.. Rupture de café... Rupture de verres pour les jus.. Et surtout obligé de le signaler pour que cela soit résolu. Vraiment dommage.
