    I love the location of the hotel. It's very close to historic streets in Kyoto which makes sightseeing at night really pleasant. The breakfast is divinal. Everything is very well made. The variety is not the highest I've seen, but it's plenty enough... But it's the taste and preparation of the food that really excels. Regarding the architecture and confirm of the hotel, it is very nice with a minimalist and modern tone to it. Rooms are very clean and confortable

    We had a wonderful stay at The Gate Hotel Kyoto and were very impressed by both its location and overall quality. The location is excellent. The famous Takase River runs right beside the hotel, giving it a beautiful and peaceful setting despite being in the heart of the city. It is also within walking distance of central Kyoto and Gion, where you can explore the preserved machiya architecture, traditional streets and historic charm that Kyoto is famous for. The hotel itself is still relatively new, exceptionally clean and beautifully designed. We had absolutely no complaints about the amenities or facilities — everything was well maintained and comfortable. One of our favourite features was the scenic view from the lobby overlooking the old Kyoto across the river. It really gives you a sense of the city's traditional character while still enjoying the comfort of a modern hotel. Overall, The Gate Hotel Kyoto is a fantastic choice if you want to stay somewhere central, beautiful and convenient for exploring Kyoto. We would definitely stay here again.

    レストランからは，南座や，鴨川が見えて，落ち着いて過ごせます。 3Fのラウンジも，とても落ち着く場所でした。たき火でマシュマロを焼いたり，本を読んで過ごしたり，時間がゆっくり過ぎるようです。
