    The location is perfect for exploring area on foot and enjoying the beautiful Takase river. The facilities were well-maintained; the bathroom was spotless. Staff were helpful and attentive. All and all, our stay made our Kyoto visit a really nice one.

    Wonderful location. Close to Pontocho Alley, Gion and Sanjo Station, and just a short walk to Teramachi shopping. Bed was really large and comfortable, but there was very limited room for our luggage. Unfortunately, the rubbish was not collected daily, and towels had to be left outside the room if you wanted them replaced.
