    When I first arrived in my 10-bed room, there was a horrible stench in the room, which showed that there was bad ventilation in the room. Only 1 window could be opened in the big room. During the summer night, the room is too stuffy to sleep in and the room door had to be opened to let air circulate in the room. Furthermore, no fan was provided when I requested one from the front counter. Additionally, after staying in the hostel, I got several bed bug bites on my arms and legs, which I strongly suspected came from the hostel bed. I remember seeing some blood stain marks on the side of the bed sheets.

    Dutchies Hostel ist a very nice place to stay! Very clean! Nice staff. I slept well. And meet nice people. Next time in Amsterdam I will come back :-)
