Room and bed comfortable, walk in shower, table top ironing board and iron were very useful prior to a family wedding.
Green table cafe on site is really good. Also The White Hart provided hotel breakfasts.
Staircases were a little fusty with an odd air freshener to compensate. Its an old listed building so to be expected but might smell fresher if the stair carpets were steam cleaned and better air fresheners.
Beautfiul location.
Lovely Japanese meditation garden next to the bagel cafe, was lovely on a sunny morning.
Check in time is only between 3-6. A couple of family members were coming later so we had to arrange permission and collect keys earlier to ensure they could get in to their rooms. Arrive in time for check in to avoid problems

Spent a relaxing couple of nights here. Beautiful grounds to walk around and good food options on site. Slept fantastically in my cosy comfortable bedroom.
