The breakfast was great but they did not seem to be expecting me! I also had dinner the night before and that was very good, on the recommendation of a friend who lives locally and knows the owners but they did not disappoint.
I had booked a room with a bath and ended up with just a shower but that was ok, though I could have done with a soak after my long journey. I also thought that the room was quite small compared to the images online and I could have done with more room around the bed to move but I did not spend a lot of time there.

It was all lovely and will definitely go back.

No hot water in the evening. Staff slow and not overly attentive. Rooms not up to scratch. 2 small beds pushed together instead of a proper bed. Creaky floors. Not overly clean
