Great location for what I needed. It was supposed to be two of us and dogs staying for work, but unfortunately only my partner attended due to family issue. The original room did not have hot water so they very quickly changed the room and from then on the stay was perfect- thank you and would recommend
The change of room could have been avoided but understand that the host thought we should be in a pet friendly room- however the hot water should really work in all. But hats off for the swift rectification and room swap.... perfect!

The lady owner was friendly and very helpful. She cooked my breakfast a little earlier than usual, as I was on a walking holiday and had to leave early to catch buses. The day it rained, and I got soaked, she dried my outdoor clothes in the airing cupboard overnight and also put an electric heater in my room, to warm me up.
I had a single room, that was a little on the small side (which she apologised for), but it was very comfortable, and had everything I needed.

The room was cool, considering the hot weather at the time and it had an ensuite bathroom. The BnB was relatively easy to find and is walking distance to the town centre and Totnes Castle, Guild Hall, restaurants, shops, etc. Free parking was provided.
There was a musty, damp dog smell when I first entered the room, which discipated after having the windows open. I could hear every footstep and every word that was spoken in the room above me. The coffee cup, water glass and teaspoon that were provided all needed washing before use.

Very satisfied with my stay. I was made to feel welcome and offered an earlier breakfast sitting, as I was volunteering at a nearby festival. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Due to exceptionally hot weather on departure day, I decided to change my plans and was allowed to stay longer than the usual checkout time, which was appreciated.
I would be very happy to stay here again.
