I stayed in Palm Springs for my trip to see Joshua Tree National Park. It’s a small drive to the park but cool place to stay. Great service and location. Easy walking to restaurants and shops downtown but far enough away to be quiet for sleeping. I would stay here again.

It gets said a lot, about a lot of places, but this really is a little Oasis near Downtown PS / Arenas. Very nicely maintained & unassuming from the outside. Very tranquil neighborhood. Its contactless checkin meaning access is via email/messaging. I really look forward to staying here again.

We loved our stay at the Desert Hills, It was our third time coming here and it is always fantastic. Very quiet, close to restaurants and shops. Great atmosphere, beautiful rooms and property. Only downside was a construction site outside the hotel which started their work at 7am. But other then that it was perfect. Thank you Desert Hills.

If you are looking for a clean, quiet, lovely stay in Palm Springs- this is the place. It was perfect for what I was looking for. My room was perfectly clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The pool area was quiet and clean. There is no working hot tub, otherwise 5 stars all around. I’ll definitely be back!

Decent stay - very clean, bed comfortable, amenities include only pool (hot tub was under construction and seemed like it had been for awhile, not sure) - easy park, easy check in - didn’t like you couldn’t use the pool before your check in time and no one was even there using it - especially when you travel all day and just want to relax - most hotels/accommodations have no problem if you want to do this - close walk to downtown

This resort is very mis leading the picture make it look like a quality boutique hotel. As a local from Palms Springs I can tell you that this place is below standard and the rooms are more of the quality of a motel 6 or travel lodge. The theme may be retro but its more like a cheap hotel from out of the 70's. Luckily they did accommodate us and let us move across the street to their sister hotel "Obits inn".. There sister hotel is more of what you would expect from a stay in Palm Springs @ a boutique hotel. Desert hills is over priced, over rated, and the pictures are miss leading. Note: the hot tub had caution tape around it and the pool honestly didn’t look inviting. Luckily there are so many other Amazing boutique hotels in palm springs and at a lower price; which is why i would never settle for the Desert hill hotel again...

We really enjoyed staying at the Herbert Burns designed Desert Hills. Our room was very well designed and comfortable. It is in a great location. The pool was heated and nice.

What a fun little motel that takes you back in time! Easy check-in and friendly communications with all. We were only there for one night but will definitely choose this place again when we return to visit. One suggestion is to allow communication through WhatsApp instead of just texting for those who are not able to use text as an option while travelling.

It was very quiet and clean and an easy walk to downtown! The kitchen was a plus and the beds were very comfortable. Just wish the jacuzzi was working but other than that it was a great stay and would definitely stay there again!
