Perfect Palm Springs experience. The room was exactly as pictured, the pool area was a great hang out spot, and the manager was a gem to chat with. Walking distance to almost everything!

Had a fabulous time here in July for my bd weekend trip. The social hour is great time to meet neighbors in other rooms and get to know the host. Thrift and antique shopping was fun. Got a great hat from Helm Hatters in Joshua Tree and topped it all off with selecting artwork at the Shag store. Can’t wait to return to the city and stay at the retro Orbit Inn. Room was perfect with small kitchen and all the amenities necessary. Even enjoyed the pool late at night because it is just too hot in the desert in July!

Great location, great amenities, very friendly desk staff Manager defensive and rude (instead of being hospitable/problem solving) BUT--Do not book for only 1 night!! Make sure to only book 2 nights or longer or you may lose your reservation/be bumped to a smaller or different room without any warning. Managers were rude when this happened- this was the worst part-the rudeness from manager and length of time it took for manager yo get back to get back to me- Desk staff very nice but not able to assist when my room was downgraded (from kitchenette to no kitchenette) due to one night stay -

This was our second stay at the Orbit-In. Love the mid-century feel And the music playing softly as you relax by the pool. Also enjoyed the Happy Hour by the pool at 4:30pm. We are looking forward to another stay.

Would strongly recommend the Orbit In if you are staying in Palm Springs. Only a few blocks walk to Palm Canyon Dr. , where you'll find tons of shopping and dining options. Great staff and the rooms are each a unique experience. Make sure to try the Orbitini at the complimentary Happy Hour each evening!

We had a great stay at the Orbit Inn. Check-in was easy, Tucker gave us a tour and informed us of all the amenities the Orbit had to offer. Heated pool, hot tub, firepit, daily breakfast and cocktail hour. Our room, Cha Cha room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had a 50's aesthetic. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. Stayed two nights, got a good nights rest each night. The Orbit is in a nice area. Parking was easy. Wish we could have stayed longer. Tucker and Brian were excellent hosts. We'll be staying here again, for sure.

First time in Palm Springs with my honey, and it was a nice experience. Staying at the Orbit In was convenient and close to the main street through. The best part about staying here was the service and the unique room (Eames). The In receptionist was very friendly, and you could talk to him for hours. He was also professional and helped us with any issues as best as he could and even recommended places to eat. We ate at Clandestino (his recommendation) twice because honestly it seemed like the best place around, and we could have walked there if we wanted to. Our room seemed professionally designed, and it even had a record player. The only bad thing about our room was that our toilet was backed up the worst I've seen despite barely using it. Also we had a patio which we never used, it seemed worn down. At least the pool area was nicely done with room to relax with other guests. Overall, nice experience, and unless there is a better inn, I would probably stay here again for the vibes. I think another guest said he was a regular.

Perfectly restored and maintained mid-century property in a beautiful location with unique retro-themed rooms. Host made us feel very welcome with generous "Orbitini" cocktails and entertaining conversation with other guests at the poolside bar. This place is special and we would love to return - and stay longer next time.
