The apartment is in a great location, very close to the train station. Keep in mind that it’s on the second floor with no elevator, so if you have mobility issues it might not be the best option. All communication is handled through WhatsApp, where you’ll receive clear instructions for check-in. The room itself was very clean and well-maintained.

We booked this hotel for the proximity to the train station to visit Cinque Terre, having read that it is better to take the train than drive. Although the listing says parking is available, it was not. Due to another review, I tried (and thought that I had succeeded) to reserve parking in advance. I called several times in the days leading up to the trip to confirm but did not get any response. When we checked in (which was quite difficult only by whatsapp with poor response time, and the place was very hard to find), the man said to park at the train station. The station parking garage was both full and closed, so we had to park >20 minute walk away in a garage we found online, which completely defeated the purpose of booking this hotel near the train station. Additionally, someone (presumably) backed into our rental car while it was left in the garage. I noticed the scratch right away, and we had to pay damages to the rental agency. This would not have happened if we had private hotel parking. In our whole two week trip to Italy, booking this hotel is my greatest regret. I paid extra for the convenience of being close, and it was an extremely inconvenient and an unpleasant experience. Do not book if you have a car.

Our stay was excellent, the room was very nice and clean, the location of the place is perfect, very close to the train station and the main street and restaurants, the owner Alejandro was super friendly and helped us a lot with recommendations and was very attentive, We would definitely come back!

The breakfast was located offsite at a choice of two cafes and includes a croissant a juice and a coffee. The cafes were busy and table space was limited. Don’t expect a relaxing time😁. Be very fit!! Apartments are a walkup 2 stories. If your GPS says you arrived but you don’t see it, look up; turn left after the tunnel, Walk up the hill then sharp left to your front door. no hair conditioner provided, bring own if needed. Doors are thin to interior so you will hear late arrivals and early exits. Exterior windows are very good so don’t worry about train noise!!! If you want a nice room near the station this is good.

The owner was very on top of any questions that came up!! If your driving....please let them know in advance, because parking is VERY tight...Train station is short walk. Surprisingly as close as the property is to the train station, the room was very quiet.

We had to call the owner when we arrived because there was no front desk. The lock code was sent on the same day of check-in (instead of 24-48 hours earlier). The SIM card we used in Europe was a different number from our US cell phone. We asked for parking when we reserved the hotel, but on arrival, we were told that the parking was not available. We had to park at the train station nearby and had to pay. If you stay in this hotel, please contact the owner 1 - 2 days earlier before arrival, especially if you need a parking space. No elevator. Other than that, the room was nice and comfortable. The electric kettle to make coffee/tea was a plus. Breakfast was served in a nearby cafe.

Aessandro was great, we arrived and were frustrated bc we had a rental car and he didn't have parking available at the moment and no parking to be found even at private parkings, so if you heading there arrange ahead of time the parking 🙄 the zone is packed always bc of 5 Terre, his communication was pretty good and he was able to find us a parking space near by after the hassle, he recommended to stay one more day and go to 5 Terre, it was gorgeous 😍 we ended up staying one more night, the rooms are nice and clean, I loved the hot running water after a long day! I do recommended it!!

The room was very clean & spacious in a building next to the train station. Surprisingly quiet being situated so close to the tracks yet very conveniently located through the tunnel to the main city centre & all the restaurants, pubs & shopping. Very safe & walkable. Breakfast was great via coupons at a couple local cafe’s. The location in La Spezia was wonderful & close to Cinque Terre. Our host Alessandro was very helpful & allowed us a quick & smooth self check-in, plus effective signage was in place to help locate the building that the rooms were in. Overall a very great location & stay.

Great apartment, with the best air conditioning so far. 5 mins walk from the train station so perfect for daily trips onto Cinque Terre. Alessandro was the perfect host. Communication for directions to apartment, and for places to eat was superb. After 8 days of travelling around Italy, to end my trip here was the best for comfort.

Not a hotel. Note that you will have to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs to get to the room. Wifi is good. Bed is comfortable. A 7 minute walk to train station. Recommended for those in good shape with good knees. My daughter and I were fine, but my older relatives wouldn’t have made it.

This was a quick stop over. Very close to town and easy to walk out for dinner. Lots of restaurants around. We have an oversized vehicle and there are only two paid for spaces available so check with the host before, it was almost a problem for us but the host was very accommodating in the end. Plenty of secure parking around if you just have a car. Room was pretty basic but clean and convenient, comfy bed and a modern bathroom.
