From the moment you enter you are greeted by the concierge who was very helpful and kind. Everyone who worked there was very nice and informative and there to help if you needed. Wow - what a place!! We had the had the pleasure of a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal - which has to be one of our holiday highlights. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Having a coffee machine and non noisy air conditioning were big bonuses. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you for making our stay special. Location couldn’t be better. We’ll be back!

Great service. The property is in the center of Venice, which is a plus to getting to other areas. The rooms were also clean. No clothes iron though without paying for laundry fees.

Great little gem of a hotel / locanda

Loved the hotel. It was about a 5 minute walk to the water taxi stop. The water view was amazing. The only complain I have is that the walls are thin and can hear voices in the room next to us but they weren’t rowdy which was good. Overall I would stay at the hotel again.

Everything was alright except for the level above us is owned by private owners which means that they have no control over the noise from the home above; they were jumping and jumping the ceiling shook a lot and woke us up many times. It is not the hotels fault but just to bear this in mind, that the floor above are owned by private owners. The staff informed us the hotel was fully booked so we did not have a choice but to stay there for two nights. The hotel staff waived off our minibar charge, that was the only offer they could make to us. But other than this, very clean and well maintain room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Locanda Leon Bianca, just off the Grand Canal in Venice. Our vaporetto from the airport delivered us to a dock just a short walking distance away. The location was ideal... easily accessible to restaurants, shopping, and major sights. We were just north of the Rialto Bridge in the Cannaregio -- close to everything, but without the crowds. The facilities and staff were excellent and very accommodating.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully appointed, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. adding an extra touch of magic to my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was luxurious, with high-quality amenities that made me feel pampered. The hotel’s location is ideal — just a short walk from Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge, yet tucked away enough to offer a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Whether you’re strolling through the narrow streets or taking a gondola ride along the canals, everything is conveniently accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options, including local specialties. The dining area itself was elegant, and I enjoyed starting my mornings with a leisurely meal while taking in the stunning surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, 5*****

I booked this hotel because i wanted a view of the grand canal. I received a room overlooking an alley. Very disappointed with view. Also, booked it because it had air conditioning but was told it was off.The staff is outstanding and its location is in the middle of everything. Excellent breakfast!

The staff were so kind and helpful, even carrying our luggage, which was not light, up to our room. The room itself was gorgeous, and the view even more so. We could sit out on the little balcony in front of the Grand Canal and watch the local life and gondolas go by. You can even see the Rialto Bridge. We looked at many hotels before booking this one, and I’m beyond grateful we did. It’s just a short walk from the waterbus, and along the way there are many shops and most importantly, places to get gelato and cannolis. I’ll definitely be staying here if we visit Venice again. *Helpful hints about Venice: There are lots of stairs, so the city can be a bit tough to navigate if you use assistive devices. If you have a disability, I recommended booking a hotel near a waterbus station ON THE SIDE of that station as to avoid needing to cross a bridge. Pack in smaller suitcases if you can; this will make it much easier with stairs. There are ACTV ticket booths at the waterbus stations; you can purchase online ahead of time and enter your PNR code to print your tickets there or you can just purchase there. Pay attention to which direction your waterbus is going. It can be easy to make a mistake and go the opposite of what you intended.
