    We had a 4 night reservation and early on night 3 being up later we discovered several bedbugs running around. This was room 507. The attendant moved us to room 408, and though we did not see live bedbugs there, there were dead ones on the floor under the bed. We cut our stay short and it was a huge inconvenience to try to make sure the bugs were not in our clothes or luggage, which was on the floor. The staff while friendly was not much help in how to remediate the exposure, but did offer to have our clothes sent out to be cleaned which was good. The location is great and the price was reasonable, but having bedbugs is not acceptable. They only credited us for the night we found them and forward, not for the two nights we were there previously. It was just gross. I'd post pictures and can provide as proof, but I don't think anyone would want to see them.

    Like all London hotels, the rooms are tiny. Our door couldn't even open all the way because it ran into the bed. :) And there was a quite small staircase to our standalone room on floor 2. It was only 3 minutes from the tube station, and we walked about 8 minutes to catch a bus and 5 minutes to Sainsbury's, a big grocery store. It is also right next to the train tracks, so with trains running all night, it wasn't as quiet as our hotel was in Kensington Gardens. But the bed was comfy and the shower good, and that's worth something. There was an AC unit in our room, which is also a plus.

    My room was next to the train track and the constant noise from that, especially at night, is unreal.
