    Quite a walk from the nearest tube station Gloucester Road Station. The only saving grace is a Sainbury’s round the corner. Room is tiny. Can’t accommodate a big luggage. Barely any walking space. Bed is just a step from toilet. Toilet is tiny. No space to put toiletries. Shower works fine. Staff are helpful.

    Got exactly what was advertised. We had a double bed for me and my girlfriend. We spent most of our days outside exploring London and came back to the hotel to sleep. The washroom (especially the shower area) was a bit small, but that was expected. Staff was friendly. Check in/check out was easy.

    I booked a one night stay as I had an early meeting the following day. I've used easy hotels several times before but not this particular hotel. On first appearance the room looked ok, a bit worn and tired. However, when I returned later in the evening I noticed several issues with the room. First the TV is in a ridiculous position, directly over the pillows on the bed - it took me 20 minutes to locate BBC 1 on channel 801! When I walked bear foot on the floor I realised it wasn't clean - with hair and dirt. The room was located on the ground floor and next to it was the store of dirty linen, towels etc. During the night I was woken several times with what I assume was someone stacking more bags. In the morning I noticed the towel was dirty and stained as was the bath mat. I was going to mention these issues when I left but it was quite early. I did complain to the hotel by e mail - and they did apologise half heartedly. Apparently regretting that I didn't tell them and give them the opportunity to offer me a different room. In my opinion these are issues that should never arise - the room should be clean and fit for purpose. This one was clearly not.
