What a nice place. Our suite, Room 277, was spotlessly clean. It was very quiet and cozy for our Christmas stay. Well laid out for two couples, although we were only one. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are dozens of restaurants within a few minute walk. We will be returning!

This place is not worth it. The room smelled bad. Doors are hard to open, keys jam, lights don't work, the sidewalks easily flood. Dishes were not clean, and the free wifi only worked intermittently for us. Our room opened right out onto a major street, so we had people near our room's door constantly. Rooms are not just outdated, but in various states of disrepair. The pictures are inaccurate. We were not informed of a power shutoff until check in, which meant the room didn't have power for 8 hours. This part was unavoidable but either give advance notice or block the dates and don't book those rooms at all. Staff is friendly, which was nice. Parking was also free, and we experienced both hung troubling about the other guests here. Otherwise though, terrible room and experience. I'd understand if it were cheap, but this place isn't really cheap. It's just cheaper than others nearby. This place is a tier below something like Motel 6.

You definitely get what you pay for, $300 for two nights, a cozy little old fashioned home, nothing inherently wrong with it, but some small things could bump this rating higher, the stove looked to be pulled out of a 50’s or 60’s catalog, the burners were messed up but I let the front desk know so that shouldn’t be a problem later, the shower head was at chest height so you get to feel like buddy the elf from elf, but other than that great place

As I've been telling friends and family, this was a 5-star experience at a 2-star motel. 2400 motel is very transparent in their advertising, it is an older motel with modest amenities. For us? It was perfect. We booked a family suite that had a full kitchen, separate bedroom with one bed, a 4-peice bathroom, and a second bed in the main 'living' space. The arrangement was ideal for my small family (2 adults, 2-year old, & puppy). The areas that could easily be updated were --new laminate flooring everywhere except kitchen and bathroom where small tiles remain; new and very clean tub and surround in the bathroom. Exceptionally clean beds --checked for bed bugs with absolutely zero signs of them. Things they aren't able to easily update such as the wiring did mean no a/c (something they are transparent about) and limited outlets in the kitchen. Definitely not a deal breaker for us and after living in older rentals, we were used to quirks like this. The staff were all friendly, and I believe they're a living wage employer which is pretty neat. The grounds were clean, well kept, and felt safe at all times of day. There was even a cute welcome gift for our dog when we arrived complete with a small blanket, treats, dog poop bags/holder, toy, and collapsible dog dish. All in all we would absolutely stay here again. Folks looking for 5-star experience and amenities should book the 5-star hotels. This motel is a great option for those who don't mind a bit more of a modest stay

Let's start by saying that it's perfectly fine - it's not fancy but it's also not nearly as expensive as other options. Don't expect 4 stars, as you shouldn't. It's old, but it's got a clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom. My unit had a kitchenette in it which was also very convenient. I definitely feel like the management is banking on the charm and history (it's used to film a lot of things) to justify not updating the units. There is a lot of peeling paint, older fixtures, and some stains. Not dirty, just needs to be updated. The shower is rather small, and the water doesn't get super warm for some reason. The biggest drawback is that there is absolutely no AC. Which is probably fine during colder months but even with the overhead fan on I was sweating most of the day. You can open the window, but there's no screen so you risk both bugs and intruders. The staff is super friendly, responsive, and attentive. Overall, I'd say it's a great spot for the money if you're just looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, and don't need any frills. I would probably be concerned about no AC during the summer months.

Darling quaint little motel. Comfortable bed with clean linens and towels. The one complaint was our room smelt like cigarettes and when we opened the windows there were other guests smoking 2 ft away. So never had a clean smell during our stay. But the staff was nice and friendly.

The woman who checked me in was excellent. The property on the outside is freshly painted and well maintained. The inside of the unit exhibits much rust and mould with no air conditioning. The unit was over $300 a night but I don’t think I could stay there again even if it was $100 a night but the staff was excellent.

I’m happy it was affordable but I don’t understand why the security hold is $300 with no fridge, no AC, no window screens, no microwave and when you open your window you can see people outside so did not feel safe leaving a window open or door when showering. Our towels had straight hair strands on them and bathroom tub too when I was showering and I have curly hair. Honestly I would not stay again for sure but location is a gem! Just needs a lot of work to be done.
