This is a comfortable hotel to stay when staying in Vancouver for work.
I was cold at times, despite increasing the heat.

Friendly, helpful staff.
Located on a very busy street. A lot of traffic noise. Fortunately it was winter, and with the glass door closed it didn't seem too noisy. But in summer that would be a problem.
The good side of the hotel being on a busy street is that there are frequent buses going back-and-forth to downtown. The hotel has a secure underground parking area. We were able to leave our car in the parking garage, and use the buses to get into the city.

The location was good. Between downtown and SFU and near the Hwy.
It was a good breakfast layout, but the eggs were too salty and the potatoes stale. There were other options.

Breakfast was included and good
Staff not letting us use the debit card initially.

Good location, on the quieter side compared to downtown. The pho place across the street is open late, gas station across the street. Cool stores down the steeet. Definitely recommend! Good bang for your buck! And parking downstairs too!
It was a little bit cold, and they had to come fix the heat, but they did it quickly!

Room was updated, basic. Bathroom small, can’t have door open and use toilet. Close to PNE and Starbucks, Tim’s and local library all within walking distance.
The neighborhood view from our “balcony”. The parking is tight.

The location to the concert venue was excellent. The room was big and clean. Everything was working. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and OK. An added bonus was that you can walk to a church that was close to the hotel.
The bed covers and comforter did not reach high enough to cover the person entirely. You need to scoot further down the bed for the comforter to cover your neck and shoulders.

I liked the friendly atmosphere and the fact that there were a lot of families staying there. The staff were friendly and considerate. It was a very pleasant stay.
No complaints at all.

Close to the pier for our cruise
Had breakfast for free
Beds comfortable
I guess these days you have to pay money in order to check in an hour early. We had to pay $40. The staff at the front desk could’ve been a little bit more friendly, however. But I have high standards when it comes to customer service.
When we went down for breakfast, they were out of a couple of things. I had to ask and wait. You would think they would be checking on a consistent basis because it was pretty busy in there.

We got upgraded to a junior suite. Affordable parking arrangements. Shuttle to cruise port.
Breakfast room too warm and over crowded

On the bus route; comfortable beds.
Street facing room was incredibly loud; there was little difference between balcony door closed and open.
Breakfast was pretty bland.

It was clean and comfortable.
The location seemed a little sketchy, and Uber drivers had difficulty figuring how to park for pickup and drop off. The breakfast food was just fair. I felt the price was a little high. T

The staff was user friendly. The facilities were clean.
The location seemed sketchy and it was hard for Uber drivers to figure out where to pick up and drop off. The breakfast food was fair. I booked it for precruise and post cruise stays. We would not have stayed post cruise if we could have canceled with a refund.

The location was great for us to head to the PNE, the parking garage is fully closed in which for safety was great.
The breakfast in the am was really good value
We had no hot water. After coming back from our show we wanted to shower but there was no hot water. Went down to the front desk and was told they couldn't do anything till the morning ( 10pm at this point) In the morning we got up to try and shower around 830-9 and still not hot water.
We checked out with no shower due to it not working. Whe checking out the front desk agent, asking our room#, and then saying you are all checked out. No asking how our stay went or offering anything due to no hot water.
Later that day, I called the property again, asking for an email invoice since nothing had come. I spoke with Ana at the desk, who at that point apologized for the lack of water, then ended up taking off 15%, which helped, but the amount for a room it was very disappointing, having no hot water.

This is a strange hotel. The rooms have been fairly recently updated but the rest of the hotel has not. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you'd need.
The location is well out of the city and you need to pass through an area of extreme deprivation and open drug taking to get to the city. The breakfast is extremely poor quality. The pictures of the room certainly catfished me.

The breakfast was super. I loved the shuttle to the port. The driver even told us interesting things. Good restaurants within walking distance .
10.0 / 10.0
Great experience, clean comfy rooms, city bus transportation right out the front door, great places to eat in the immediate vicinity, free breakfast, staff was great, most important for us was the complimentary shuttle to the Port to catch our cruise.
8.0 / 10.0
A bit if a drive from the city but that suited us as it was in a quiet location. We were able to leave our car in the underground carpark for a small charge whilst on our cruise. Free shuttle to the cruise terminal

Very good location - the price of this hotel is reasonably lower than in the downtown, while it costs only 20 CAD to get to the center via Uber.
There is a breakfast available - quite simple and typical "cheap American hotel style", but - it is.
The check-in time is quite late (4pm), but we were allowed to check-in already at 2pm - so great! Also, the hotel allows guests to leave the luggages before or after the stay. Thank you!
There is a good, low priced, Vietnamese restaurant opposite street open till 1am, so - go there. Also there are Starbucks and Tim Hortons in a walking distance. A short walk to the big park. Amusement part is being bulit there.
The A/C in the room is so noisy that it is impossible to sleep! We experienced that in both our rooms.
There is no toilet brush in the bathroom. How should I clean the toilet then? If not me - why was it not cleaned by the service team? The cleaning lady left a wet dirty rag on the table.
The check-out time is 11am, what I consider quite early as check-in is 4pm.
Hotel cannot offer transport to the airport (even they do have a big van).
After the first day we ignored further breakfasts and had them in other restaurants.
If you ride from the hotel to the downtown you pass through the street (close to the Chinatown) where hundreds of homeless drug addicted people spend time. We were told they are not dangerous, but it looks really dramatic.

Location.
Breakfast quality is poor. Hallways has no AC only the rooms

The location was close to Pacific Coliseum, the reason we chose it, and the free hotel shuttle ensured we could get downtown for the rest of our plans. Lobby waiting room was very nice.
Our room was on a busy street, so it could get loud.

Friendliness of staff. Shuttle to conference center.
Very expensive for average amenities.

Comfy beds, and a decent breakfast.
Building seems to have gone thru recent renovations, some parts were properly renovated, other not so much. Our bed room had broken tile hole in the bathroom, and the bathroom sink counter also had a big crack.
Water was hot, but the pressure was weak.
The room could have been cleaned better as on my first night I found crumbs in between the couch and beer caps on the floor. Our balcony had holes and mold all over.
Front desk/concierge was not friendly or much accommodating. I asked to know if there were any local Chinese restaurants they could suggest, all I got back was no, I dont know any places.
Last thing that I personally dont like is the fact they require $250 deposit but takes 7 to 10 business days to return. That's almost very unheard of. Also a very high number for a deposit.

Beds were comfortable. Staff was nice. Breakfast was decent. Waffles-were eggo brand that you put in the toaster.
Lack of communication about the cruise shuttle. I called and confirmed they had one. Months in advance and nothing was mentioned then that I needed to book the shuttle since they “fill up.” 10 slots an hour. This was the only reason I booked the hotel. Price was decent compared to others, but the reason you will find out soon enough. Driving through the zombie apocalypse of Hastings St. Drugs and homeless people galore. Did not feel safe walking around with my kids 9/11.

Did not get a great answer when I reported the room was cold but they did offer additional blanke

Pretty decent lobby and spacious rooms. Breakfast was decent.
Parking was a maze, I guess that is true for most of Vancouver. Flooring in the room could have been better cleaned.
