Zaandam is a great place to stay just a train stop away from central Amsterdam. We had the rail pass so was very easy to travel around from This location. Hotel was neat and provided very basic amenities. The area around was beautiful. The only thing that was a bit of issue was lack of any storage space or any place to even store our bags. We have to leave everything on the floor. Other than that the stay was good

The stay was good. The facilities would be better if there was a fridge in the room and if there could be something done about the smell of weed in the hallways. Coffee I. The room would be great instead of spending 4.5 euro every morning and having to go down to the hotel lobby to get it.

Location is good and near the train station, but everything you need to pay and expensive to get, no kettle no hot water, no luggage room.

Practical solution for a night stay. No frills, but it said that in the description. Few issues with TV service not working. Also, no phone in room so needed to head down to reception a few times (yes, could have used my mobile, but didn't want to).... Close to railway station and shopping.

Another great stay at Easyhotel Zaandam. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Room was clean with lots of hot water in open shower. Nothing fancy about the room with just liquid soap dispenser, no hand towels and no closet or storage for luggage or clothes. But I still like it here and the ease of walking to shops, bars and restaurants. Train is only 4-5 minute walk. Its just a quiet, comfortable place with friendly people.

The hotel was well situated, an easy walk to the train station, close shops and some funky modern architecture. The room was too small for a couple travelling for more than a couple of day. There was simply no storage so bags were stacked int corners. No real room to work, in fact apart from a single kitchen chair and the bed there was nothing to sit on I don’t regret my stay but I would not repeat it

The price is cheap for a reason. There is nothing in the barroom. There is no cups no tissues even just 2 towels for 3 people. The room is pretty small and check out time is 10 am. Late check in or early check in will cost you lots. There will be 5 Euro per item if you need storage for your luggage after checked out.

Another great weekend stay at easyHotel Zaandam. Super convenient, just 5 minutes from Zaandam Station and a short train ride to Central Station or the direct to Schiphol Airport. Shopping, coffee and grocery is just steps away. 10 minute walk and you're in the Dam for a wide selection of restaurants. Venture further and see the less touristy side of Zaandam, where there are 2-3 larger grocery stores and more restaurants and local shops. Walk along the canal or watch the boats pass thru the canal locks. After many stays in the Amsterdam area, I have made easyHotel Zaandam my go to hotel. The rooms are not spacious, there is a lack of space for a suitcase, and a closet with 4 hangers doesn't handle shirts/trousers/jacket very well. But it is clean with plenty of hot water and multiple security (key required) doors to get to your room. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. This trip, Aurora made sure I was well taken care of. Highly recommend for shorter trips or if you don't require much space. It's a comfortable space in a comfortable town. It just feels welcoming.

Excellent Hotel for tourists. Faouza was extremely nice. I reached early before check-in time and she took good care of accommodating me. Convenient location, close to the station. Many dining options at a walking distance. If you looking for a place with a clean bed and bathroom, this is the best affordable option.

It is a shame that besides I sent an e-mail asking for parking options they never answered me. There is a perfect option in the same building the hotel is but because they don't have an agreement, they don't even mention it on the website. The hotel is a little hidden inside a shopping mall and the GPS had a hard time to find it. If they suggest the Q-Park Heritage Zaandam by my own risk, it will be perfect, and the parking lot can access the hotel by the first floor. Quick information in the web site will make the live easy to the ones driving to the hotel.

Rooms a a little tight and not much room for luggage storage. Fine for solo traveler, but couple will face challenges get into suitcases. Water pressure was a little low in this room but plenty of hot water. WiFi worked fine with decent speed. Only issure (every time I stay there) is the limited options for hanging up clothes (no wall hooks) and no hand towel at the bathroom sink. Would recommend if you are traveling light and want to avoid the crowds in Amsterdam. Very nice central square with lots of food and drink choices.

Loved how cute the area was! It was right by a train station so you could train right in to the central in 15 minutes and could use your eurail pass to ride from free. Super clean and modern inside. Would definitely stay again!

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and any questions they were quick to answer. however the room itself was dirty and we had a gel like liquid on the bed frame which was sticky and glitter all over which I found unhygienic.
